I've stayed here many times. Overall, it's usually a great experience. This past trip was a bit disappointing. The wifi was slow and had a new password requirement that took time to work thru. The breakfast is always good too. For a good attempt at a western hotel atmosphere, you can't go wrong.

Great hotel near Ningbo, nice green area. The hotel is stated so you have view on the hill. The hotel has all the services you want, a great pool, sauna, spa and there is a gym, restaurants and little boutique shops. The rooms are well maintained.

Great hotel , very well maintained ( or new ) , I often stay in Chinese 4 star hotels , usually find them to have large rooms , but to generally have a "shabby " feel to them , with fixtures and fittings looking worn . This is definitely not the case here , everything very clean and well maintained... More

I have stayed here before and have always been more than happy with the service of all the staff, both in the hotel and its restaurants. No change there, still excellent. But I have always thought that it was located away from any interesting parst of town. I was wrong! This time I stayed for a full two weeks and... More

For many Chinese cities one could say that they "all look the same". Maybe, but for the Grand Pacific hotel in Yuyao I would never agree. Sure, Yuyao can be seen as a village compared to surrounding cities like Ningbo, Shaoxing, Hangzhou and Shanghai, it still has more inhabitants than the capital of Holland, Amsterdam. The hotel stands in the... More

I spent four nights at the Grand Pacific, Yuyao, recently. I knew nothing of the property; my reservation was made by a local business contact. Perhaps IF I'd done some research, I'd have been prepared, with an expectation of a top class hotel. Instead, I felt like I was making a discovery of what proved to be an excellent place... More

At this price, it will be hard to find much better accommodation in China. The hotel is well maintained and the rooms are clean. The dinner buffet is really great, you will get a discount if you live in the hotel. Also a really good buffet for breakfast, both for Chinese and western food. The surroundings are not the best,... Stayed one night in this well appointed hotel. With a room view over the adjacent river, historic bridge and temple, it was spacious and comfortable. A very nice restaurant downstairs as well as a great buffet breakfast in the morning. Attentive and English-speaking staff made this a very pleasant stay. Will definitely stay at this hotel again when I next... More

A good hotel close to a shopping district and a historic bridge and temple, a mixture of old eastern and 21st century. Good selection of eateries in the hotel.
