Just celebrated our 12th wedding anniversary with a night at Bukela lodge! What a fantastic trip! Simon and his team went out of their way to make our stay very special! Lukanyo our ranger went that extra mile to try and find the cheetah for us - and because we didn't find him we will definitely have to make a... More

Excellent safari lodge - ambiance and food absolutely superb and served by friendly and attentive staff. Our ranger Chris spared no effort in making our animal viewing memorable. He showed great knowledge of the park and it's animals and we felt very comfortable in his care. No hesitation in recommending BUKELA.

Only 4 lodges of the highest quality. Excellent food prepared by local villagers. A special mention to Chris who was an expert Guide/Ranger - very skilled in locating things for us to see on the Drives and a varied and always interesting commentary. We've been to Leeuwenbosch on the same Amakhala reserve which was fabulous too - Bukela was just... More

This lodge is just amazing. I spent a few nights at the Bukela Game Lodge inside the Amakhala Game Reserve in early January 2014 with my family and I must say this place is out of this world. The service, facilities and reserve are just beautiful and I highly recommend anyone wanting to experience true South African hospitality to stay... More

I stayed here with my husband back in 2008, whilst visiting family and friends we decided to stay 2 nights at the Bukela Game Park. Our lodge was beautifully-styled with African decor, bed was super comfortable and it was in the middle of the game reserve.
