This is truly a chateau. After touring the left bank wine country it was evident there were not a lot of options as far as hotels were concerned. This place is ideal! Lovely property. Breakfast overlooks the back lawn and vineyards (just beautiful). They also have a lovely high end restaurant where the food was delicious. We had a bit... More

Chateau Pomys has many positive things about it. Its a truly beautiful and unique place to stay. The proprietor is a very friendly and helpful person who really aims to please (not always common in France). It is one of the best places to eat in the northern part of Medoc which actually isn't saying much since most places are... More

Super friendly staff! Greeted warmly by Alban, who escorted me to the Merlot suite, with amazing views from two different door size windows. Room had a large bath, allowing me to soak my weary bones after two days of 6+ hours on a horse and in the hot sun. It is my opinion (if the weather holds here in Bordeaux... More

We enjoyed the hotel's "Romantic Stay" offer which includes dinner and wine and a tasting of the Château's wines. The rooms are pleasant, clean and comfortable and the public areas impressive, especially the terrace where we ate dinner. The staff were helpful, particularly the lady who took us through the wine tasting. Breakfast was excellent.

We came here for 5 days with our 5 months old baby and the staff couldn't have been more helpful in accommodating us, including offering the option to wash our baby's clothes, putting a mini-friedige in our room and making us feel very welcome during dinner, which is served in a more formal setting. They all go out of their... More

Everything's great! Very welcoming, friendly and helpful staff. The rooms, overlooking the garden and vineyard, are really nice and cosy. You just feel peaceful and relaxed throughout your stay. We had dinner in the restaurant, amazing food especially the lamb shank!!! Would love to go back!!!

A lovely hotel with extremely friendly service - the rooms are fine and comfortable but the real joy was dining on the terrace and enjoying the local superb wine in a lovely location. The steak was world class - I've eaten plenty of steaks in my travels but this was certainly well up there amongst the best, if not the... More

We booked it as an overnight stay driving through the Medoc. It has great value and it sure is a memorable place to stay. The hotel standards are pretty basic, for example there are no lifts and in our (huge) room overlooking the garden and vineyards there was no AC. Also, the breakfast is not included in the price and... More

The local Tourist Information Office found this hotel for us. If we are ever back in this area, we will stay here again. We felt as though we were royalty invited to a gracious country house for the weekend. Alban was a wonderful host and all the staff was pleasant and helpful. Out room was lovely and the grounds lovelier... More
