Just returned from a great two night stay at the chateau and this really is a home from home. Gilles is such a great host and kindly helped us book winery visits and restaurants. The chateau is easy to find and very close to many of the area's best vineyards. If you don't want to leave your room then you... More

Gilles was an amazing host to us on our stay in St. Estephe. He set up our Chateaux visits - all 6 of them, our dinner reservations, and catered to our needs. The Chateau is very beautiful with a nice patio out back to sit and have a pre-dinner drink on every night. The pool was also a very nice... More

Just spent five days here in late June, 2015. The proprietor, Gilles, is an outstanding Manager and gentleman. Not only did he prepare fantastic pastries himself, he gave us great recommendations for dining, winery visits and self tours that we embarked on each day. Great house in terrific condition with five rooms. Would be excellent place to bring a large... More

Perfectly appointed B&B with simple but elegant decor. Very comfortable rooms and communal areas. Excellent breakfast. Beautiful grounds with the option of having a picnic arranged if you don't want to go anywhere for dinner. Definitely one of the best B&Bs in the area.

My boyfriend and I (along with our friend Ali) stayed at Ormes de Pez for 5 nights in early June this year. It was amazing! The Chataeu has been beautifully restored yet retains a lovely homely feel that makes you feel instantly at home. Our host Gilles was incredible. A master in many trades. He was our host, guide and... More

The setting is tranquil. Rooms are very comfortable, quiet and updated; five rooms in total. Breakfast superb. Giles (the concierge) set up several days of winery tours and tastings, all private or very small groups at top Bordeaux wineries. A wonderful educational and enjoyable experience. Not to be missed. This B&B is perfect and should be chosen for any Medoc... More

Staying at Ormes de Pez is an extraordinary experience. From the moment of arrival on the white gravel drive, walking up to the magnificent front facade and stepping through to the grand entry, you know that your visit will be memorable. The beds are comfortable and the rooms spacious and quiet. Superb breakfast. Some guests may find the old-style bathtub... More

Chateau Ormes de Pez was a great find - you really do feel like royalty in your own chateau - way out in the country, in beautiful surroundings - vineyards in every direction. Gilles de Marcellus, the intendant of the chateau, was amazing - he arranged winery tours for us, and also cooked a special lamb dinner for us and... More

Chateau Ormes de Pez is a beautifully converted old house where you still feel all of the original charm, history, and beauty. It has a personal feel, but at the same time providing nice privacy. Staying there felt like being invited to stay at a nobleman's vacation house in the heart of the most famous wine country on earth. :)... More

Stay here for work trip arrange by UCG group tasting. No complaints at all, perfectly clean, well set up, maintain facilities! Maybe should have a shower curtain in the bathroom to avoid the water to splashing? Just make the cleaning task easier and avoid slippery floor.
