Had the most delicious dinner at The Nags Head , Last night. Thank you so much for making us so welcome and serving the most delicious food. We'll be back! Having been to the sister pub....The Bricklayers Arms, in Flaunden, we were interested to see how The Nags Head compared . Certainly not disappointed! They are both excellent.

The Inn has been well restored in a stylish way. We arrived late but were welcomed by the small team of excellent staff. The food was very good, but pricey. The family room was fine, but the noise from London Road would not suit most who are looking for a quiet night/morning. Overall we were impressed by the place.

The requirement was for a light lunch for three on a beautiful Summer's day. I had the pleasure of hosting two lovely ladies, one of whom has me as husband! Flexibility on the part of the staff was the key to a thoroughly agreeable experience. The swipe of a credit card established a tab and presentation of a numbered wooden-spoon:... More

From the moment we arrived to leaving we were made very very welcome. We had a fabulous lunch in the garden whilst watching the cricket. It was well cooked, beautifully presented and quite delicous. The room was spotless, well appointed and very comfortable. The full English breakfast was delicious and coffee & freshly baked croissants are to be recommended. We... More

We've enjoyed some lovely meals, both evening and lunch, at The Nags Head and absolutely love the food and the welcome we get, great staff, pretty pub with charming décor and a super garden. We also organised a larger party recently for my husbands 50th and the evening went fantastically well, the staff looked after us perfectly and the food... More

Small country inn with really helpful staff. Fantastic menu with quality to match. Wifi really stable to complete end of day emails. Room small but you expect this with a small country inn. Set in the country on a busy little road in peak times. Would definitely use again if working in the area

I stayed two nights in this pleasant country inn, which has a pretty country setting and a big garden. My bedroom was a good mix of traditional and modern - black beams, with stylish modern decor (e.g. silvered furniture) and an equally stylish bathroom with original exposed brickwork. The bedroom had a very pleasant view of trees. There was some... More

Loved our stay in this historic old Inn in a great location to explore the Chilterns. Our accomodation was unique in a very quaint old room, with large ensuite facilities. Close to the roadway we were not disturbed by the traffic. Delicious breakfast served. Enjoyed a delicious evening meal in the dinning room. Can highly recommend the Nag's Head for... More
