After finding the motel booked up, we drove a little further and happened upon Cresthaven By the Sea. What a find! This is exactly what a B & B should be, classy, clean, and a great location. Sitting in the adirondack chairs overlooking the Bay of Fundy, the view couldn't be better. You are mere feet from the water at... More

This lovely family home with modern and tasful extension offered a wonderful view across the Minas Basin at the North end of the Fundy. We were warmly greeted by our host who lit a fire for us in the guest lounge area and joined us for a fascinating conversation about the local area. He also pointed us in the direction... More

We visited Nova Scotia in the fall at the height of fall color - we chose to stay at Cresthaven by the Sea because of it's proximity to the areas of extreme tidal flux and also because it's one of the few places actually on the water. The view is breathtaking . There are adirondack chairs to sit in on... More

Beautiful rooms, Comfortable beds, Great owners, Good breakfast. Quiet and relaxing with beautiful view of the bay. Right on Fundy Bay where you can see the highest tides in the world. 3 Rooms each with ensuite bathrooms in a newer addition to the original home. Great common area with sitting room and fireplace.

Some have said that watching the tidal bore is a bore. While it is not a thrill a minute, it is fascinating. Cresthaven is a great place to observe the tides over the course of a day. I could see the river without even lifting my head from the pillow. Warren is a great host - very friendly and has... More

First, let me say that Warren is a VERY nice host and super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was OK I guess.. toast and scrambled eggs with some fruit. The problem is the room we chose- "Sailor's Rest". All the rooms in this B&B are in the "new" part of the house which, I hate to say, is that cheap new... More

When the nice folks at "Lonely Planet" wrote ...... "Stay here for what is possibly the best view in Canada over the Fundy tides " They were talking about the view from the window in Sailors Rest. Which was built in 2001. Not the same construction techniques employed during construction of the older part of the house (1850's) but using... More

Very nice B&B. Great place to watch the tide. Host is very knowledgeable and VERY chatty. Great source of info; not for those wanting quiet solitude. Check for places to eat. There are not a lot of choices, and there isn't always some place open to eat.

Thank you Warren and Cathrine for having me at the end of your season this year. This is a wonderful warm (literally - fire place!) and peaceful B&B but it also has a sense of family and welcoming to it as well. A great place to watch the Bay of Fundy tides (amazing view) and bald headed eagles as well... More
