If you want to be ON THE WATER, at a great location to view the Bay of Fundy tides, and you like to feel welcome, comfortable and a bit pampered, then this is the place to stay. My husband and I chose this B&B for the location on the bay. It is off the beaten path, but the second we... More

My husband and I stayed here last night. It's in very quiet Maitland, on a cliff overlooking the bay. Sit in the lawn chairs outside and watch the tides go in and out. Warren, the host, is very knowledgeable about all things local and answered our many questions completely. Although the house is old, it is free of the usual... More

The views were amazing, isolated but near a great restaurant. Friendly, clean, good breakfast. Warren, our host, who is also a volunteer firefighter, had information about everywhere nearby and was fun to talk to helpful.

We spent one night at this lovely B&B. it's a charming old house with an amazing location right on the edge of the tidal flats of the Bay of Fundy. A number of colourful adirondack chairs line the cliff's edge, perfectly positioned to enjoy the view and watch the tides. The room was very comfortable. No air conditioning, but it's... More

Charming B&B, conveniently located to tidal bore rafting. Our room was large, tastefully decorated and comfortable. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Warren was a very helpful and knowledgeable host, with great suggestions of things to do in the area.

in the middle of seemingly nowhere on the Bay of Fundy is this beautifully restored home from the mid-1850's with a recent addition of the B&B. Our hosts were friendly and generous with their time and thoughts - even loaned us towels for the tidal bore ride knowing they would come back muddy. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening outside borrowing... More

We drove by this B&B last year and were so enchanted by the setting, we made plans to return for a stay. The rooms are tastefully decorated and welcoming. The views of the Cobequid Basin are breathtaking. Sitting in the colourful Adirondack chairs on the front lawn, we watched the tidal bore and the white water rafts that chased it... More

After finding the motel booked up, we drove a little further and happened upon Cresthaven By the Sea. What a find! This is exactly what a B & B should be, classy, clean, and a great location. Sitting in the adirondack chairs overlooking the Bay of Fundy, the view couldn't be better. You are mere feet from the water at... More

This lovely family home with modern and tasful extension offered a wonderful view across the Minas Basin at the North end of the Fundy. We were warmly greeted by our host who lit a fire for us in the guest lounge area and joined us for a fascinating conversation about the local area. He also pointed us in the direction... More

We visited Nova Scotia in the fall at the height of fall color - we chose to stay at Cresthaven by the Sea because of it's proximity to the areas of extreme tidal flux and also because it's one of the few places actually on the water. The view is breathtaking . There are adirondack chairs to sit in on... More
