We stayed here at the end of a 6 month backpacking trip around South America. We booked well ahead, on the strength of Lonely Planet recommendations & online reviews. Being the end of our trip, we decided to go 'all out' and book a 2nd floor 'Sea View' apartment for 100,000 COP. A COMPLETE RIP-OFF compared to every other place... More

after asking for a quiet room and paying extra for a private room, i did not get one minute of undisturbed sleep as music literally shook my room all night long. staff would not chnage my room and were completely unsympathetic.

Its a bit outside central taganga, but it is the coolest place in town if its hot, with lovely trees and hammocks everywhere. Really relaxing, amazing steak and the staff are quite helpful. It's easy to get to Tayrona from here - they have a transport leaving every day and can give you details.

At first our private room with bathroom for 50,000p seemed great, room size was okay, bathroom not bad. But shortly after we checked in we noticed a smell coming from the bathroom which didn't go away for the three days we were there. It smelt like urine and hadto keep the bathroom door closed the whole time. The cleaners couldn't... More

After starting our travels in Panama City,we then traveled to the San Blas Islands before moving on to the beautiful city of Cartagena. After a brief overnight stay in Minca we then arrived at Casa de Felipe. I had booked a suite and it was absolutely beautiful, tastefully decorated and immaculately clean. We had a wonderful view from the balcony... More

We found this place in Lonely Planet.. and I have to say, after we stayed here we seriously reconsidered ever trusting Lonely Planet again. The sheets are old and dirty, the rooms feel like jail cells and it's really loud. I could see loving this place if you're a young backpacker who likes to party. It does have a nice... More

I love this kind of backpacker hostels, ample grounds with a lot of space for hammocks and to move around. Not only one building but many little ones. They have different kind of accomodations, starting from dormitories for the low budget travelers up to studios with own kitchen and balcony. Also they have a public kitchen up on the roof... More

Incredible bed & breakfast in Taganga. They have loads of tables and hammocks to chill out in the social area and great amenities as well, with kitchen, TV room, etc. Patrick, the Dutch chef makes some impressive dishes. It is a great place to go for dinner and start drinking before going out. The rooms are OK, quite an improvement... More

I can not say enough about this place. I loved it from the moment I arrived. The dorm room I was in was really amazing. Lots of space to put your personal things, individual mozzie nets, and clean bathroom. Kitchen, computers, and loads of space to just hang out. Alot of people end up staying here for more time than... More
