Summary: - asked night before about going to san gill in the morning - told about catching 6:30 bus, but nothing about checking out - detained inside compound until 7:30 - told by reception lady we talked to night before that she didn't know if we had paid and how would she know if we paid - also said she... Casa Felipe was a great hostel for us, somewhere we wished to stay much longer. The staff were friendly and helpful (particularly the bar and kitchen staff who let us pay a day later when we ran out of cash!) and the rooms were big and clean. When you come off the boat from Tayrona, all you want is a... More

A nice hostel with cool atmosphere. The small courtyard has hammocks, tables and a fountain, and they have two lovely cats. The restaurant of Chef Dominique cook delicious plates, a little expensive, but it is worthwhile (my fillet mignon was fantastic!). The bar had a nice tender making delicious natural juices. They have guest kitchen and luggage storage (nice, if... More

Stayed here for two nights. Highest spot up on a hill in Taganga which gets you great views. Rooms were standard, lots of hammocks and spots to hang and watch ocean. Best part was the French chef who cooked amazing and affordable meals AND the homemade juices at the bar.

It seems to be common among costenos that they dont smile or appreciate your business. However, we were not shown around, we were not told hello, we were over charged, the place was dead, the walk up the hill was very sketch, the internet was not great.... They also dont speak much english which normally doesnt matter much but the... More

The hostel is awesome: there are plenty of social spaces, a bar with a beer storage all day long and a restaurant with yummy food from thursday to sunday. Rooms & common spaces are very clean, outdoor areas are very beautiful. What's also quite important for Taganga - there's constant water supply in the hostel (there's a shortage of water... More

My girlfriend and I spent 3 days here in April. We had an amazing time. The staff are friendly and the rooms were very clean. There are hammocks everywhere and the view from the rooftop patio is amazing and you can catch a great sunset over the bay. If you are here on a weekend check out mirador for a... More

My partner and I stayed at this hostel for one night and it was fantastic! A beautifully clean room with a nice cold shower for the hot humid weather. They also have a great juice bar which are fairly cheap. The lovely outdoor garden and hammocks are a lovely place to relax. I'd definitely recommend this hostel if you are... More

We enjoyed casa de felipe! Nice place with hammocks and Rooftop place with nice view. Only the chicken kept us awake during the night. No hot water - but you dont need it! Luggage storage for free during your lost city trail (dont miss this!!!!)

This hostel's best feature is definitely the great restaurant. For what you get, the prices are really fair because the food is delicious. The restaurant is open Wed-Sun. They also have a juice bar that is open every day. If you stay at Casa de Felipe, you definitely have to try the jugos! Edgar isn't the most friendly guy, but... More
