Arrived in Taganga intent on staying on the beach because there's quite a few of hostals along the beach. We priced a few, and they all seemed quite average but on a very outdated Lonely Planet recommendation we went to Casa Blanca. This place is absolutely horrible, the previous review that states they don't honour reservations is completely correct. Upon arrival we were greeted by a rude security man who couldn't comprehend that we had a booking and paid a 10% deposit. We stayed at Casa Blanca after hearing rave reviews through MINI HOSTELS (online booking agency) and to be honest the only thing this Hostel has going for it is it's location. We knew about this place from tourist guide. When we arrived we knew we wanna stay here. Great views from top rooms which has also huge patios.
