What can we say about Lorraine and her family that hasn't been said before. Everything about Trenake was delightful. From the warm greeting, to having your own tourist information rep, to a fantastic warm and inviting hostess. Also having Lorraine and her son Mark (Mr Gorgeous blue eyes) teach you so much about the farming industry with all the rules... More

On this visit to Cornwall, we brought our friends with us and we all had the most fantastic time. The accommodation at this farm is excellent; lovely furnitures, comfy bed, really clean. All of us slept really well even our one year old baby. Breakfast was excellent, really well cooked, good portions too. Lorraine ( you're such a lovely, elegant... More

This is one of the best B&Bs we have stayed in. The accommodation was excellent, the location was perfect and the welcome was warm and friendly.Nothing was too much trouble for Lorraine from dealing with our wet beach gear and recommending somewhere to eat to dealing with my wife's gluten free needs.

I have stayed at Trenake now on 3 occasions and will happily stay there again and again. This is a working dairy farm and you are welcome to go and observe the milking (if you can get up early enough!). The rooms are high quality and immaculately clean. All the bedrooms I have stayed in have ensuite or dedicated bathrooms.... More

We stayed 8 nights on this dairy farm and really enjoyed it. The accommodation was clean and very comfortable. We had use of a large lounge which we enjoyed relaxing in. We loved the decor with all the interesting horns, hunting pictures etc. Just what you come to the UK to experience. Lorraine and Antony were warm and welcoming hosts.... More

We indulged in this super Cornish farmhouse b and b to celebrate my partner's 76th birthday. Our every need was met with energetic and thoughtful consideration. It rained a freak three inches during our 17 hour stay at the farm, but the warmth of the family's hospitality meant we scarcely noticed.Afterwards, having spent a morning at Charlestown's fascinating ship wreck museum,we emerged... Our family spent a lovely 3 days at Trenake last week (Aug 13). To quote my 10 year old daughter ' I don't want to go home as I love everything here,! My children enjoyed playing with the dogs, Cracker & Skip and watching the horse in the field from the window seat in their bedroom!!! The rooms were very... More

Can't praise this enough. The Philp family were all so very welcoming. They told us so much about life on the Farm. Rooms so comfortable with pretty decor, very clean. Gardens, spoilt for where to sit, several lovely places to sit in the sun. Nice to be able to wander round the farm and see daily farm life. Breakfast was... More

We stayed at Trenake on the 10th/11th of Aug 2013, we was greeted by our friendly host Lorraine, and despite her being busy with the farm as they were harvesting she made us a lovely tray of tea and homemade fruit cake, she also made sure she looked after our daughter and brought her a glass of fresh apple juice.... I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Its like a stately home, complete with gardens and lovely animals! There was a warm welcome from the manager on arrival with a pot of tea in front of the roaring log-burner. That night I slept peacefullyin the cosy bed with the electric blanket. In the morning there was fruit, cereal and home-made... More
