Have just returned from a 4 night visit and wished we had longer. Our 3 year old was in her element feeding animals in the morning and riding ponies or enjoying a tractor ride. Farmer Keith certainly has a new friend. Meal house was perfect for four of us and if you intend a visit you must try the home... More

I booked Polean Farm because I wanted us to have a family holiday on a working farm. It certainly didn't disappoint. We stayed in Threpney Byre (the other larger cottages were all booked when we booked) which was smaller than we would have liked but given that all of us (my husband and I, our two daughters aged 4 and... Lovely setting: our Mealhouse Cottage, the playground, morning animal feedings, horses and tractor/pony rides etc. mostly met our needs (including those of a very inquisitive toddler) very well. The site is still evolving with new building and facilities planned - it would be interesting to see it again in a year or two. Richard and Farmer Keith played their parts... More

Polean is a wonderful farm and a great place to stay. We have stayed twice and both cottages we stayed in were lovely, especially 'Little Owls' which is very large. Every morning Farmer Keith takes all the children out to feed the animals. Keith definitely makes your stay one to remember. He is very friendly and really good with the... More

Just returned with my 6 year old daughter and mother from a 3 night stay at the farm. We stayed in the 'Shires Rest' and it was absolutely perfect. Beautiful country side, with miles of fields from every angle. The welcome pack was a lovely surprise, a really nice touch. It was lovely to be free to roam around the... More

What an absolutely fantastic hideaway! We decided to have a week away with our dog and stayed in the Meal House cottage which had an enclosed garden, perfect for the dog. Richard came to see us after we had settled in and gave us a few handout detailing local walks (which was what we were there for) to local towns.... More

This place is fantastic, we have a toddler who is nearing three. He loved the feeding of the animals farmer Keith and Lisa are amazing. The cottages were perfect for us, had plastic crockery for the toddler, we could borrow DVDs to watch. With log fire for wine o clock time. Farmer Richard was a wealth of knowledge for our... More

We had a cracking time at polean farm in October. My 2yo daughter was in love with the place by the time we left. With tractor rides, animal feeding and just a fantastic setup this was a.gem of a find. For adults and older children there is plenty to do nearby and the accommodation itself was a+.

We keep going back to Polean farm with our 4 kids. We all love it, and it is one of the highlights of every year. Friendly, well equipped, comfortable, and entertaining. We could ask for nothing more.

Thank you so much for another fun and glorious visit to your farm. Our 4th trip with our now 8 year old daughter and I'm sure not the last! A gorgeous cottage at Shires Rest and supplied with everything you could wish for, logs for the fire, towels, delicious food parcel, heating and lights already on to welcome us too... More
