The patron, his wife and kids made us very welcome - accommodating our energetic childrens' exploration of the breakfast room and reception during mealtime and taking time to talk to us about the village. We stayed as a family (wife, 4 yr old and toddler) across two connected rooms with ensuites, as part of a larger party booking in October....
