This is a great hotel and the scenery is amazing. We are already missing the mountains and the alpine paths, and vow to be back. Most of the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. A special mention to Martin, Laura, Petra, Andreas and all the girls that work in the spa! It isn't cheap but you get what you pay...

We had a 'Schlern' room reserved that was on the ground floor looking out the back of the hotel from a balcony on the mountains. Not much of a view, if you are on ground level. So, if you book and you really want a view a) ask for rooms on 2nd or 3rd floor or b) book the Rosengarten...

Room confirmation incuded "breathtaking view" on rosengarten mountain, most of the view was a 2 floor building under construction. The hotel chief didn't want to accept our claim and I felt his behavior was rather unfriendly. On other websites i found similar experiences other clients. Food is good, but i missed certain charme or elegance and friendliness for this price.
