This is our second time staying at the Karystion and we enjoyed it just as much this time. We brought friends who also were very happy there. The staff are superb and were the same as before which is a tribute to the good management. They went to so much trouble to help us find our way up to Kylindri... More

The hotel is in a lovely location in a quiet part of town.Beautiful views through trees towards the sea.Breakfast can be taken on the terrace and comes attractively presented on a tray containing freshly squeezed orange juice, stewed apricots, Greek yogurt/vanilla pudding or rice pudding, homemade jams and a choice of breads .Public area of the hotel is very attractive with... It was a wonderful vacation in this hotel. We enjoyed our beautiful room and the great sea-view in the morning. But what really made the big difference, was the owner and staff. So friendly, helpful and sweet for the baby. We know by experience, that is not something you can take for granted. The only downside is that we have... More

Crossing the car park to walk down steps to the nearest beach is so convenient while partners can enjoy relaxing on facing balconies. This beach has rather sharp sand and gravel with tricky rocks offshore but further along the main road is a sandier beach with umbrellas/facilities etc more suited to little ones or nervous swimmers. Beach 'jellies' would be... More

Staff are friendly and Spoke a bit of English which made things easier. We only had a traditional breakfast which was amply. Our room overlooked the beaches and were outstanding. A very relaxing atmosphere, rooms had the basics and the hotel was very nicely decorated. Easy access to the beach, town and outskirts.

Owner and staff, make you feel super! nice selection of music during breakfast. Lunch was excellent, like visiting a first class restaurant. Although rooms need to be a littlr bit refreshed, total impression makes you feel really excited.

We came back from our trip to Skyros and had to return the car at Athens Airport. So we diceded to take the ferry to Kymi and than drive down to the south tip of Euböa to spend the night. Next day we took a ferry from Agia Marina (which is a 10 min. drive from Karystos) over to Rafina.... More

The Karystion hotel is a delightful hotel in a great location. The staff are superb and can't do enough to help. Breakfast on the terrace is served and is fresh and good. The rooms are modest but spotless and there is a lovely balcony and views of the sea. There is a beach nearby and it is possible to swim... More

A beautiful location, virtually on the beach. Superb local food cooked on the premises. Very friendly staff. The hotel is very clean. Breakfast on the terrace under the trees was something to look forward too. In places it was a bit worn, but this was more than made up by the staffs keenness for us to have a really good... More

Stopped here one night on trip to Karystos. Very friendly, good room with sea view and excellent breakfast. Excellent value for money. Would certainly return. Actual charge was less than half of that quoted in room.
