We were attending a wedding locally. Room was big but was in need of an upgrade and the floor seemed to be on a slant. Toilet/shower room was adequate. Bar area was very basic and not very welcoming, it seemed like an afterthought. Breakfast was probably the worst I have ever had whilst staying in an hotel which was surprising... More

What a lovely old hotel. OK so it is a little in need of TLC but it is OLD and creaky. The welcome was so friendly, the beds very clean and comfy and the room spacious enough. The toilet needed to be handled with a little skill to get it to flush but it all added to the adventure of... More

Had a meal there this week , both chose a meal accompanied by salad. The salad consisted solely of (out of date ) lettuce. Mentioned this to waitress who said they had been closed for 3 days !? Otherwise service good and waitress friendly but no compensation offered for lack of salad. Had meals there previously which have been OK.

A party of us stopped off for a meal on the way back from a fishing trip. Warm welcome, good service, excellent food and a great pint of Tennants. Recommended. The hotel is very well situated for touring, walking, fishing in Perthshire. Half a mile from the A9 with Stirling and Dunblane close by to the South and Perth 15... More

We arrived late Saturday afternoon when it was already dark. Turning on to the street was very pleasant as there were Christmas lights on the lamp posts. The Hotel was quiet and we had to ask the bar staff if we could check in. The manager was very friendly while checking us in and informed us that breakfast was included... More

Arrived at this hotel to a very pleasant well mannered young lad. 1st impression good. We were then taken to our room. A quick trip outsied and around to the back of the hotel where there were 2 rooms detached from the rest of the hotel (same building just no acces to rest of hotel without going outside). When the... Having had lunch at this hotel previously we booked a room last night as we wanted to break our journey. We had to book through an online reservation service as phone calls to the hotel went unanswered. Our room was freezing, felt slightly damp when we went in. The beds were clean but that's about the best we could say.... More

We came in here for dinner but decided first to have a drink in the public bar. One of the locals told us the food was terrible! The Manager was a very young girl with a very bad attitude. For a Saturday night at 7.30pm there was our table of 4 and one other table of 2 in...this should have... More
