People come here for one reason only, to see Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park. Most seem to stay only one night. As such, it's no resort, but merely a functional place to stop for sunrise over the crater and some touring within it. The rooms are a bit dingy, with a basic bathroom, but ours had a comfortable bed. There... More

This was not the best hotel (read lodge) in the surrounding area of Mount Bromo but this is the only hotel (read lodge) that has the best view of Mount Bromo right from its propertyl. Definitely the category is not a star category but to me it was still worth the money. Not only the view was amazing, the room... More

It is definitely one of the better hotels for the price range. The absence of Wi-fi and a few insects could be putting off for most people, but the rooms on the upper levels are not affected much by insects and the absence of Wi-Fi could do us some good. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The view from... More

From some of the reviews, I was expecting it to be terrible, but it really wasn't too bad. The room was clean, met the basic needs for a few hours sleep to catch the sunrise and to clean up after. They should fix the water heater though. Almost thought I had to boil water from the kettle. But I figured... More

The lodge overlooks Mt Bromo and a short stroll from our room brought us to a good viewpoint at sunset. The meals were not bad. The room was a real disappointment. It was dark and cold. The window glazing was designed so air circulated all the time. The windows could not be closed properly. It was cold in September so... More

This lodge had amazing view, because we can see mt.bromo directly only from our balcony. The best place to enjoy sunset. The room's decoration is very javanesse style, the bed is cozy enough but the lights is dark and the bathroom is poor. There is no mini market near the lodge so make sure you bring all the stuffs you... More

Amazing view of Mt Bromo from the hotel which is one of the few positives about this place. Room incredibly dark & very smelly. The strong smell of sulphur was overpowering at night (so much so it made my eyes sting & throat very dry). Rather chilly - bring warm clothes. Food at dinner good altho despite the extensive menu... Lights very dark, water for shower very poor. I left my tripod behind, required a lot of effort to call reception, was notified the item has been sent back, didn't happen, asked my brother to get it, he found out, the item was sitting at delivery agent. Im not impressed. Communication with hotel staff very difficult. Never recommend to anyone...

A view from hotel ground is fantastic, location very good, all other - not so good, but acceptable. We arrived very late, sleep here for 5 hours and leaved to Bromo, later returned for breakfast, so we havn't time to research good and bad. I quess the most of travelers do similar like us. So nothing to complaint too much... More

The view of the lodge is very nice. You can see the Bromo very well and the sunset is wonderful. BUT the room is old, dark and the bathroom a shame! The breakfast is very poor. Only rice, noodles, eggs and toast. No cereal or milk available. Some fruits are there but very few. Is very expensive for what they... More
