I stayed here for just one night in early August 2014. The room was clean, the bed sheets were clean but the bed cover didn’t appear clean. The bed was comfortable. The hotel has hot water showers but unfortunately for me, the hot water stopped after 40 seconds into my shower so I had to shower in cold water. It... More

We had few chances to choose as the area was almost fully booked. i understood however the situation is common for the other hotels... With the Exception of one a bit further but really not justified for the price.... In any case reading other reviews on tripadvispr we were not expecting a great place to spend the night.... And we... More

There is no great accomodation around Bromo, that said Permai is the best one can get. Whilst rooms are old and not up to international standards, at least beds are comfy and the hot shower works! Staff are really helpful, charming and friendly,. As an example we came back all wet from Semeru and staff helped us pack everything into... More

Previously, I read the comments from the people who had bad experience with this hotel. So, I didn't expect much in this hotel. I chose this hotel because I heard that the location of this hotel was just perfect. Our room was a standard twin room. The room was basic. Honestly, it was much better than my expectation. All were... More

Very basic hotel without heating so bring warm PJs to sleep in as the cold does seep into the room. Shower comes with hot water, breakfast simple but filling. Don't forget the great view from across the hotel. Think many may tend to overlook it.

We chose this hotel for it's location. It and the Lava View hotel seem to be the only 2 hotels in such close proximity ( 100 mtrs ) to a lookout with fantastic views of the whole volcanic area. The room was very basic, but we had a comfortable clean bed and a good hot shower, for a short night... More

Don't believe the tour operators who say that there is little choice for accommodation in Cemoro Lawang, there are many homestays that offer simple accommodation at a third of the price of this place. The standard room was basic, although the shower really hot and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was OK but the staff seemed half asleep in the mornings.... More

Wasnt really expecting alot since there're many bad reviews. However, thank God our room's water heater worked. No sewage smell from the water, just that the toilet bowl flushed once and then it kept flushing continuously (lightly). However on the next morning when we were about to leave, the tap stopped working and there was no water at all. The... More

Stayed here a year ago in the renovated VIP rooms (at the back) and they were amazing. Beautiful beds, super clean, and a joy to stay in. Now back in what must be standard/regular rooms and it is like being in a different hotel. Mouldy walls, old bathroom with threadbare towels and wonky doors. Pay the extra for the upgrade!
