Stay at the Hotel Java Banana Bromo is really exicting. Strategic location of the hotel to see the beautiful natural scenery of Bromo. From the restaurant we also can see a beautiful view towards the sunrise directions. The hotel building with many of wood to make our stay comfortable but seemed to be in the forest but with a classy... More

You will be surprised when you get at the top of the mountain to find such a beautiful lodge. The common area are definitely more fancy than private room. We booked a deluxe room and it was nice, but they should improve the bathroom (no place to hang your towels). The breakfast is limited and we found outrageous being charge... More

This is a fantastic hotel for a visit to Bromo. It is simple but clean and the staff are very friendly. Plenty of hot water. The food is simple but tasty. No complaints at all and would recommend as the hotel of choice if visiting Bromo!

Let's be fair. The hotel property is very nice with its garden and architecture but its room are pretty basic for the price you are paying. There is a disparity between what's inside and how beautiful the nature outside. The room lacks coziness. Other reviewers are very detailed on their complains and more or less I concur with those observations.... More

I stayed at this hotel for a night. I think this hotel is the best hotel in this area. The price is the highest from other hotels. My room floor was not clean enough. The food also not too good. But we don't have any choice. Overall i can say that i enjoy stayed here.

We stayed here for one night. We arrived at 9.30pm after a 13 hour bus journey, tired and hungry to find the restaurant had just closed and there was no other option. I thought there would be a mini bar in the room so there would be snacks but there wasn't. The room was basic, the plug to charge our... More

Stayed here for one night for our sunrise trip to Mount Bromo for which it was very convenient. Our room was quite basic despite being classed as deluxe. The basin was in a recess in the cupboard and there was no space to put any belongings. Hot water was in quite short supply and the lighting was also not great... More

After a 4 hour drive from Surabaya, the last hour of which was uphill towards Bromo, this place is just fantastic when you consider it's relatively remote and high altitude location. Keeping this in mind, I really have nothing but recommendation for the Banana. Staff were all very helpful in arranging a jeep for the next morning, food was great... More

We stayed here for the Jazz Festival last weekend (the amphitheater and music was absolutely amazing!) although we only camped (more like glamorous camping or "glamping" with hot showers and a relatively thick mattress pad for camping) in one of their tents on-site for the festival. So we sadly did not have a chance to experience the rooms here. With... More

We spent one night here, upon arrival in Indonesia, to visit mount bromo. Hotel staff was great and really helpful. They organized shuttle from the airport (surabaya) for us as well as visit of the mount bromo and shuttle to Ijen. Was one of the best activities we have done in Indonesia, certainly worth seeing. The hotel seems a bit... More
