I've been staying in Agriturismos throughout Italy since April. This is the best of the ones I've stayed in. The location on the island is great to see the west coast - north and south. And an added bonus is you can enjoy the Sinis area of Oristano, which I think is extra special. The lodging is clean, comfortable and... More

We spent a night at this agriturismo after reading about it on Lonely Planet and Tripadvisor. Having stayed at other agriturismi before, this is an average one to me. Everything is fine but nothing is exceptional. The rooms were very clean. The food was really tasty, but the atmosphere less familiar and friendly as in other agriturismi. It's a good... More

We stayed at Il Sinis on the recommendation of our Lonely Planet guidebook and had a very nice stay. Rooms were clean, grounds were peaceful, staff was warm and welcoming, and the food and wine were delicious and plentiful. What we found in general of agroturismos was that mostly very little English is spoken which only presents problems in reserving... More

We phoned ahead and with our broken Italian understood that they have rooms and we should arrive at 18h00. We arrived and waited about 20 minutes for a man to show up and show us the rooms before we finally decided that we will stay at Su Pranu (accross the road). I was a sceptic when we arrived, but I... Su Pranu (where we stayed) and Il Sinis are genuine farms run by the same family. We had a reservation but arrived during siesta and could not raise anyone at Su Pranu so we tried phoning the number displayed but the man who answered the phone spoke no English so hung up! Across the road, at Il Sinis we found... More

Il Sinis and Su Pranu are located in a tranquil setting amongst the wine yards, orchards and rosemary bushes circa 5 minutes (car) from the beautiful beach of Is Arrutas. Excellent, delicious rustic meals prepared with produce from their own farm lovingly prepared by the family. We were incredibly well looked after and the staff were kind enough to take... More
