The place is a great retreat from the daily hustle and bustle. Very nice place to relax and spend time with family. Even my 10 yr old son enjoyed the place though they do not provide a TV or any other form of gadgets. The rooms are well conditioned even without an AC. A truely awesome and eco-friendly place for... Normally I don't write reviews, I hate it. But my stay at the Dholes Den was so good that I make an exception. The lodge recycles 100% of his own waste. It is very quietly situated with an excellent view on the hills. Service, food etc. all is excellent, which makes it for me a favorite place to stay. Beside... More

Being our first visit to Bandipur we were very excited towards safari and had limited expectation with home stay. We chose Dhole's Den because of the feedback about them on net and after witnessing it we can surely say it is mcuh better than it is talked about over net. Thanks Dhole's Den team for making our stay one of... More

It is a really beautiful place to have a peaceful time. We had asked Jayant (the manager) for an early check in for which he promptly agreed. We reached late because of the pathetic road (construction at multiple places) from nanjangud to gundlupet. We reached 3 hours late than scheduled. The resort is around 7kms from the bandipur forest office.... More

I really enjoyed my recent visit to Dholes Den. I stayed in a deluxe room and was privileged to see lots of different varieties of birds and animals (including a tiger) on the wildlife safaris. In addition, I do urge future guests to take advantage of the free activities provided by the lodge. They are very enjoyable and help you... More

Beautiful accommodation, delicious meals and delightful staff made this a wonderful place to stay for exploring Bandipur Tiger Reserve. Karthik and his staff (particularly Rajis) went out of their way to help us enjoy the wildlife and local villages. In the evenings they showed excellent wildlife films. We appreciated the sustainable approach to managing the accommodation.

Location: 10/10 - inside Bandipur Reserve Forest. Can't get better than this. Property: 8/10 - high ceiling reduces the peak day heat, but should put a ceiling fan not pedestal fan. AC not there and did not seem necessary. Eco-friendliness: 9/10: Almost fully solar powered and water reuse. Some may find the cow dung liberally around the place a problem... More

I recently had the experience of staying here for 2 nights in April, 2015. This place is very expensive Rs 12,000 per night and includes food. The cottage is very good but the food quantity and quality is just horrible. For this price, you will expect a lavish spread of items, desserts etc and what you have to up is... More

Dear Sir, many thanks for your comments that will surely let us improve. Without being unfriendly we like to reiterate that we are a really eco friendly place. We dont Profess what we dont have. As far as Swimming pool and Airconditioning goes we have mentioned their absence clearly on our website. And as far as the costs go we... More

I was in India for work and we had a free weekend so we decided to take a trip up to bandipur. We picked dhole's den based on the reviews and we were not disappointed. The place was very calm and relaxing. The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating. Despite it being an eco lodge, we were very comfortable and... More

Dhole's den is a place for people who love to be left alone in the wild, with a book and once in a while adventure in the forest doing the safari. This place is a bird watchers paradise.. with a man made pond in the middle, you can spot variety of birds. At Dhole's you pay for the seclusion and... More
