Beautiful accommodation, delicious meals and delightful staff made this a wonderful place to stay for exploring Bandipur Tiger Reserve. Karthik and his staff (particularly Rajis) went out of their way to help us enjoy the wildlife and local villages. In the evenings they showed excellent wildlife films. We appreciated the sustainable approach to managing the accommodation.

Location: 10/10 - inside Bandipur Reserve Forest. Can't get better than this. Property: 8/10 - high ceiling reduces the peak day heat, but should put a ceiling fan not pedestal fan. AC not there and did not seem necessary. Eco-friendliness: 9/10: Almost fully solar powered and water reuse. Some may find the cow dung liberally around the place a problem... More

I recently had the experience of staying here for 2 nights in April, 2015. This place is very expensive Rs 12,000 per night and includes food. The cottage is very good but the food quantity and quality is just horrible. For this price, you will expect a lavish spread of items, desserts etc and what you have to up is... More

Dear Sir, many thanks for your comments that will surely let us improve. Without being unfriendly we like to reiterate that we are a really eco friendly place. We dont Profess what we dont have. As far as Swimming pool and Airconditioning goes we have mentioned their absence clearly on our website. And as far as the costs go we... More

I was in India for work and we had a free weekend so we decided to take a trip up to bandipur. We picked dhole's den based on the reviews and we were not disappointed. The place was very calm and relaxing. The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating. Despite it being an eco lodge, we were very comfortable and... More

Dhole's den is a place for people who love to be left alone in the wild, with a book and once in a while adventure in the forest doing the safari. This place is a bird watchers paradise.. with a man made pond in the middle, you can spot variety of birds. At Dhole's you pay for the seclusion and... More

Highly recommend this personalized stay right in the middle of Bandipur. Staff is very co-oprative and always willing to go that extra mile. We went with our 2.5 year old and were treated very well. Owner of the farm house has put all the care in making sure guests get the best. Highly recommended. I am coming back soon.

Lovely view of the forest and mountains and hills. Very homely people, simple healthy food, rooms are quite comfortable and attractive. Feeling was like a home away from home. There are provisions for private bon fire in the evening. Staff are very friendly and the owner loves to interact with the guests. Watching rain here is a paradise

I actually ended up at Dhole's Den on a spontaneous one day trip to Bandipur. Read pretty good reviews on tripadvisor and booked my stay. The place was a cozy home amidst nature. Reached before check in time but rooms were available, staff was very friendly and welcoming. The entire space has two bungalows and two deluxe rooms. stayed in... More

Beautiful property carved out amidst the Bandipur Wildlife Reserve. It has a warm homely feel towards it and also a calm unwinding experience for a city dweller. The moment you arrive its quiet, serene & mentally relaxing. A warm welcome greets you upon arrival until your taking to your room/cottage. The place is well designed very contemporary with a lot...
