Special hotel in a special place. Totally constructen with logs. Nice atmosphere, good service. For a relaxed weekend. Spa's sauna, skimming pool, it's all there. Take enough money with you, it isn't cheap and since it is very remote on a beautiful lake, which is part of the charme, there is no escaping. Beware; there is no television in the... More

The hotel sits in dense forest and has been well constructed, mainly from logs - a wonderful atmosphere. It's remote, so you are captive, but this didn't seem to affect anything - food was excellent, prices were fair and service was good. We stayed on a 3 night half board package which provided buffet breakfasts and 4 course dinners. You... More

Whereas it would appear that those reviewers who have been less than positive about Hotel Sacacomie have mistaken it for a luxury resort, it is really targeted at those of us who want to get a taste of a back-country experience but in comfort. As such, it succeeds in its aims very well. It offers a range of included outdoor... More

The fact that they build a hotel in such a nice and faraway place is an exploit in itself. The view is amazing and the surrounding grounds beautiful. The log cabin hotel is nice but not chic. Rooms are clean. There is no TV and you can only get Internet on and off. Also, depending on your cell phone reception... More

On a recent trip to Quebec Province we stayed at the Hotel Sacacomie. The information we had prior to our arrival did not highlight how 'remote' the hotel is from other hotels and restaurants in the area.mWe were aware of the full and half board packages but elected to take board only at the hotel as we like to be... The facility and location were wonderful. Also their foods and the service in the restaurant were great. The tour to observe bears and beavers was a fantastic experience and the guid was also very kind and explained us many aspects. We enjoyed this tour very much. Only one thing, which was absolutely a pity, was the attitude of the front... More

Great area for relaxation and romantic weekend escape. Recommended for all gps. We stayed there next weekend and would definitely go back. Place is somehow remote but you definitely will enjoy the tranquility and quietness.

At first thought it would be too secluded but it was perfect. The hotel's public rooms are spacious, clean and attractive ( apart really from the array of stuffed animals but it was in keeping with the style of the building ). Despite being so far from anywhere the food was excellent and very reasonably priced. The wine we had... More
