OVERALL : When you come to Hotel Sacacomie, prepare for different experience than what you might be used to in the modern city hotels. Get prepared to shift into "simple" mode where you MAY not have any of today's modern essentials at your fingertips. No air conditioning, no TVs, no fridge and some very slow wifi. While this is a... The hotel is located in a beautiful area with the Lake Sacacomie and built in a natural blockhouse style. The food in the restaurant is excellent also the breakfast buffet is offering a wide range of several dishes. You can book a package of half or full pension. The staff in the restaurant is very friendly. At the lake you... More

My husband and I spend 3 days in July at the hotel. The views are spectacular and the staff is extremely kind. Fantastic cuisine ! We had a junior suite that was simple and very clean but with an extremely small bathroom. Unfortunately the rooms have no air conditioning and it was boiling hot. Difficult to deal with despite a... Having chose the hotel to spend our first year anniversary together, me and my husband were completely disappointed with it. I would describe the place as a EXTREMELY RUSTIC place, with very low signs of redecoration and renovation for at least the last 10 years. I felt in the 90s, when no modernity could be found in places like that.... More

For a 4 star hotel, and 320$ a night, definitely not worth your stay, no TV, fridge, Wifi, AC neither fan on the rooms. First night called the receptionist and asked for a fan, and it was informed that all the fans were delivered to other guest and they ran out….so from that point on it was my problem to... More

the views are stunning, BUT, it takes more than this to make a stay wonderful and memorable. -No AC in rooms makes it difficult to fall asleep before 2-3am (when room temperature finally adjusts to outside temperature) as it's just so hot in room despite opened windows. -so after barely sleeping at night 8:20 to 9:30 am what sounded like... Oasis of calm in the middle of nowhere. Perfect to relax and enjoy majestic nature. Kayak and beach time by the lake is surreal. Friendly staff, more than amazing food and cosy rooms. The chef cooks really surprising meals and I always loved it! Amazing stay!

We had very high expectations due to website, location and high prices. Unfortunately they were only partly met. The drive there is very scenic. Also the entrance is impressive. The rooms are disappoiting: I would call them rustic. Worst beds during our 3 weeks trip and worst of all: no airconditioning!! It was very hot and all the warm stays... More
