My wife and I stayed with Dominique for a week in late May and early June using it as a base to tour the Loire Valley and Chateaus etc. Dominique treats you as a friend from the very beginning to the point that there was a touch of sadness when we left. Breakfast is wonderful and her advice re where... More

We were curious to visit this off-the-beaten-path troglodyte village, and we were not disappointed. The village is fascinating, and the B&B was perfect. The room was clean and attractive with a excellent view, and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Dominique couldn't have been nicer and took us around to see their private troglodyte home. She also recommended a restaurant... More

Australians abroad. Most of our French friends had never even heard of Troo! It is a hidden treasure. Lovely place , lovely B&B and friendly, charming hosts. Like many out of the way B&Bs there are stairs and hills. But what a beautiful little spot. Scrumptious breakfast. Be sure to visit Le puits qui parle, the troglodyte houses, nearby Lavartin and... We stayed here for one night in August, we were just passing through Troo. The room was nice and very clean. The owner was very welcoming. The Breakfast was great and there was lots of it. We would like to have been able to check in earlier, 5PM is a bit late. Would highly recommend this B&B. In September the... More

We stayed here for one night on our way down to the South West of France. I chose Code Sud based on previous reviews and I was not disappointed! It is a really lovely place to stay - the two rooms we had each had their own character. They were large, airy and with a good size ensuite bathroom. Breakfast... More

We stayed in the beautiful spacious blue room inside the house which has a good sized ensuite also. Such a quaint little village. The hostess was lovely and welcomed us with a glass of bubbley. Our dinner was at the only open restaurant (across the road from Cote sud) which was fantastic! They spoke no english and we spoke no... More

We found this B&B online but, as it had no Tripadvisor write-up, I booked with hesitation. Mme Calegari-Jehl does speak a little English so that helped with booking but I resorted to my French efforts and all was well. Booking handled very well by email with quick responses - even though they were themselves on holiday in Italy! Oh, the... More
