The room facilities were good, clean and the main room was very spacious. Also the spa bath was big. Nothing to get excited about though. Probably wouldn't stay there again but that's more to do with the actual town being boring more than anything else!.

This motel was very clean and spacious. They have a dining room attached where we were able to have a continental breakfast as well as dinner. We were a large bus group, and we found them very helpful. Our driver's room was free of charge which was much appreciated.

We were desperate as Taupo was full to bursting due to the Auckland region holiday to celebrate 175 years. We drove miles and miles and eventually ended here at 8pm having got the last room by phone. Our book said 'rural views' WHAT ?!! it looked out onto the back of a 20 foot steel building about 10 feet away,... More

We ended up here after being bounced from Twin Rivers. Central Park Motor inn is just a standard motel room , There is nothing to complain about but there is nothing to make it stand out. Even small things like hooks for clothes in the bathroom would help. We had been planning to have dinner at the restaurant on one... More

This was only a one night stay on our way to New Plymouth and it was handy to the start of the Forgotten World Rail Trail, the rooms and bed were clean and comfortable, we had a great dinner in the their restaurant, and an early breakfast

Had family unit that was on the main road. Road noise+++, squeaky floor boards+++,wallpaper peeling off in every room! unfinished gib board and electrical wiring with multiple multiplugs that wouldn't get a code of compliance and no smoke alarms. Advertised restaurant no longer open over the weekend. All and all very tired. Clean but way overpriced for $230/night.

This is a reasonably dated Motel but the rooms are clean. As the other reviews say the lower level drive way needs to be re-paved. No complaint with the bathroom – nice and spacious with a spa bath – shower has good pressure. Bed seemed a little uncomfortable at the start but in saying that I had a good night’s... More

This is quite an old motel and the decor is very dated, but it was clean and quiet. It has a bar and restaurant attached. Don't expect fine dining cuisine but the food was good home cooked fare. Very casual check in procedure and we thought the owners could be a little friendlier and more engaging but they were busy.... More
