We stayed in March 2012 for a trip to River Cottage Farm and Axminster canteen, as well as some sight seeing along the coast. The room is excellent, spotlessly clean with plenty of space for two - like a mini apartment. Colin is so friendly and welcoming, knows the local area really well and suggested really good places to visit.... More

My Wife and I stayed here with our 2 year old daughter for 2 nights on the 10th-12th July 2011. We had a wonderful stay, the room was extremely well presented and was like a home form home. The owners Colin and Margaret made us feel extremely welcome. Our daughter Chloe loved chasing the chickens in the garden, and was... More

We picked Prestoller House as the nearest available accomodation for a woodturning course. We were most agreeably surprised to find a lovely room, excellent breakfast, friendly, helpful host and facilities for simple self-catering. Axminster, within easy reach of the coast and Exeter, is an ideal base for exploring east Devon, south Somerset and west Dorset including the Jurassic coast.
