We picked Prestoller House as the nearest available accomodation for a woodturning course. We were most agreeably surprised to find a lovely room, excellent breakfast, friendly, helpful host and facilities for simple self-catering. Axminster, within easy reach of the coast and Exeter, is an ideal base for exploring east Devon, south Somerset and west Dorset including the Jurassic coast.
