Loved loved loved the amazing cabins. Nice clean, modern, yet feels like you are left to yourself. The kids swam in the river for hours each day. And we hiked the areas many trails. I do enjoy camping but I wouldn't camp. The sites are typical of campsites as they cram as many in a tight space as they can.... More

We stayed here last fall in a cabin and were so impressed. From the river bordering one side of the "Playground" to the ocean bordering another - it was all very beautiful. Prices are reasonable too; especially when the cabin we stayed in could sleep up to six. Very clean, well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. Fire pits... More

This was the second time we stayed here, and we made some interesting discoveries that improved our stay this time. The park is well run, clean and the showers are excellent. The spaces are a little too tight and though we were there in September, people spaced themselves out, but it still felt as if we were close to our... More

Stayed in a cottage for two nights with my husband September 2014. We had a great stay. The view of the river was lovely. The place was extremely clean and well provided. Really liked the flower boxes - nice touch. The staff were all very helpful. A special thanks to Ethan and the Manager. Would definitely go back.

I love camping here. I return year after year. The staff are so friendly and the sites are clean. Yes, you can be right next to someone else but how can you beat the views and scenery around you. You have the ocean, the river and woods, and so much else. I even saw whales from the beach. I would... More

I return every year to my little piece of heaven at Pacific Playgrounds RV Park. Here I can watch in awe at the salmon migrating up the river ,and cast a fly for them on the beaches .I can watch the eagles ,Canada geese and,kingfishers---all on my doorstep . I can watch the cruise ships sail by to Alaska, gaze at... More

We stayed for a week in August and what a friendly place the management was very friendly. We loved the showers so clean!! the staff were very friendly. There were a few loud people at night but security dealt with that. The pool was warm and clean and the kids had so much fun. We will be back next year... More

Noisy. Kids riding bikes through campsites. People walking their dogs through campsites. I went to the "general store" to buy some milk, but all they had was candy, pop and ice cream. I asked where the nearest grocery store was and the kid behind the counter( who was about 12) didn't know, so she went to ask the other kid... More

Last night and the night before I camped beside a group of the rudest, most inconsiderate people I've ever met. They shrieked, yelled, drank and partied until I had to pack up and leave the campground at 1 in the morning! They kept walking through my campsite and letting their young children come in and help themselves to my food!... More

Average RV park with some nice natural attributes such as a nice swimming hole on the Oyster river which is just adjacent to the park. We recently spent 4 days there on the BC day weekend. Unfortunately there wasn't a whole lot of other positives. The first night was peaceful and pleasant. On the Friday we were joined by a... More
