We stayed for a week in August and what a friendly place the management was very friendly. We loved the showers so clean!! the staff were very friendly. There were a few loud people at night but security dealt with that. The pool was warm and clean and the kids had so much fun. We will be back next year... More

Noisy. Kids riding bikes through campsites. People walking their dogs through campsites. I went to the "general store" to buy some milk, but all they had was candy, pop and ice cream. I asked where the nearest grocery store was and the kid behind the counter( who was about 12) didn't know, so she went to ask the other kid... More

Last night and the night before I camped beside a group of the rudest, most inconsiderate people I've ever met. They shrieked, yelled, drank and partied until I had to pack up and leave the campground at 1 in the morning! They kept walking through my campsite and letting their young children come in and help themselves to my food!... More

Average RV park with some nice natural attributes such as a nice swimming hole on the Oyster river which is just adjacent to the park. We recently spent 4 days there on the BC day weekend. Unfortunately there wasn't a whole lot of other positives. The first night was peaceful and pleasant. On the Friday we were joined by a... More

We were running out of options to get a camping spot over the long weekend and needed some where to pitch our tent for four nights before moving up to the fantastic Salmon Point where we had previously camped 10 weeks before, this was our only option at the time and looking back we should have slept in our car!!... The newly renovated cottages are fantastic!!! Now a better value for what you get!!!! Fans in the cottages would be nice for the hot summer months (maybe bedroom ceiling fans) but overall stay was fantastic and we will be back again!

We are traveling salesmen and use an RV for traveling to every coastal town & city in British Columbia. We have stayed here before and will stay here again in the future. There has been major developments on the site in the past few years. I was surprised to see that the management (Tracey) has elected to create jobs and... More

This is a very well kept trailer park on picturesque Vancouver Island. All the amenities are here, and a marina to boot! The rates vary according to ones wishes from highly sought after river sights to end to end back in spots. Obviously the more desirable the more the money, but how much is how much? We took a pull... It is just a few steps from your RV site to a sand and rock beach that stretches for several kilometers, with wonderful views across the strait to the mainland. The pool, playground and marina are all nice amenities. However, don't expect the lovely grassy sites you see on their websites. Plan for weeds and gravel and you'll be fine.

We spent the winter/spring at Pacific Playgrounds and loved it. The owners/management and all the staff were wonderful. Everybody was so friendly and helpful all the other gusts made us feel so welcome was just like a "new family". The cabins have all been totally renovated and are beautiful. The bathrooms/showers have all been redone, Nice and clean. The scenery... More
