Great place if you like walking and mountain biking. Dalbeattie Forest is literally on your doorsteps with great forest walks and mountain bike trails. Turn left out of the gate and you head down to the coastal village of Kippford which sits at the mouth of Urr Water as it meets the Solway Firth. Great walks along the coast with... More

We stayed in an Oyster Lodge for 4 nights in September. It was cleaned to a very high standard and well maintained. All the staff on site were friendly and the shop on site was well stocked with basic provisions, you must try the fresh fruit and cheese scones! This was our first holiday with our 7 week old baby... STAYED AT THIS PARK RECENTLY FOR A LONG weekend we stayed in beach hut 21, which is in a lovely location on the site. We took our Yorkie RIO with us and it was ideal for him, the lodge had decking which was enclosed and he was able to wander in and out. It was really well equipped and lovely... More

I enjoyed a weekend at Kippford Holiday Park in one of the Boston lodges last weekend with my family to celebrate my husband s 60th birthday. The lodges are very well fitted out and lovely inside. The illustrations portrayed on the site are as they really are. My only complaint is that the paths in the park between the lodges... More

I am delighted that Jan N enjoyed her stay, that she thought the lodges to be lovely and the park to be well run. My staff only ask clients to 'tone it down' when client's activities are heard elsewhere or annoy other guests. In this case (and from 200yards away!) my Wardens heard loud conversations from 8pm to 8.30pm which... More

Six of us have just spent a weekend here in a Boston VIP lodge and we had a brilliant time. The lodge was clean and bright with all mod cons. The bedrooms were small but still had plenty of storage and comfortable beds, the only suggestion I would make is for some hooks on the back of the bedroom and... More

I have visited here many times and this is the second time I have stayed in a lodge. Again really enjoyed it. The lodge was modern, very clean and had a hot tub which was excellent after a day out and about! Visited lots of new places - such as mull of galloway and Portpatrick - both lovely. Also some... Five of us stayed here over the weekend in the Boston VIP lodge and it was great. The holiday park is huge and very clean, well maintained. The park has caravans, lodges and tent pitches. There is a local shop but we didn't need to visit. The hot tub was fantastic. We had some minor mould inside our lodge and... More

Stayed at Kippford Holiday Park last week, which was recommended by a friend, also first time visit to Scotland. The whole experience was thoroughly enjoyed. The park is well located, surrounded by woodland walks to the nearby coastal village of Kippford, about 1 mile away. This is a chilling out place, not for party people, but for the more mature... Our 2nd visit to this Park (camping) and we love it. A beautifully designed, well maintained and tranquil Park with oodles of mature shrubs and trees ensuring each pitch is characterful, unique and private. The staff are lovely from the shop keeper, reception team to the groundsmen who work tirelessly to keep the place looking stunning. The local and wider... More

We've visited Kippford Holiday Park twice this year and I cannot recommend it enough. On our first visit we stayed in a Boston Lodge which was lovely, clean, modern, spacious. The weather wasn't great but it was to come back to the comfort and warmth after a day in the rain! Second time, we stayed in the Oyster Bay Lodge.... More
