We visited Craster in June 2014 and saw this had been sold, not sure if the new owners are going to continue or not. When we stayed a couple of years ago this was the perfect base to enjoy the Coast in a beautiful setting.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Peter and Jane were great hosts and had thought about just about everything! Our twin room overlooked the harbour, was spotless, plenty of room in both the bedroom and the ensuite (decent sized shower!) and had really lovely toiletries. The choice at breakfast was excellent with all local produce being used and home made preserves and... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our few days here - in fact it wasn't long enough to see everything in the area. Well positioned for sightseeing on Northumberland coast. Our hosts Peter & Jane were welcoming & friendly and were always available to chat and discuss our options for the day when required. Very comfortable bedroom with lovely décor. The breakfasts were most... More

When you go somewhere or stay somewhere you often think, if this was my business I would do this that and the other and change this that and the other. When I recently stayed at Harbour Lights for a few days there was none of those thoughts, it was just as it should have been and I would have changed... More

This is the fourth year we have stayed with Peter and Jane and as always they made us feel immediately welcome. The accommodation standard was as high as ever and they are well worthy holders of the Breakfast Award that they have received again this year. Nothing is too much trouble for them and their attention to detail is second... More

We stayed last year at about the same time and were imressed enough to return, the first time we have ever done so. We were not disappointed. The standard that Jane and Peter maintain is way above other B&Bs that we have visited. We had the double room which is just the right size with ample storage for clothes if... More

We recently stayed here on probably the coldest, windiest weekend of the year! Upon arrival Peter & Jane offered us a warm drink and plenty of warm conversation as well. They were both so hospitable and friendly which is always a big winner for me when staying somewhere. Our planned trip for a seal tour in nearby Seahouses had to... More

Absolutely brilliant stay in Craster Attention to detail was terrific. Clearly Peter & Jane run with pride and are both really welcoming and helpful. Room was very comfortable, secure & private. Spotlessly clean. Well maintained & modern decor. En-suite. Breakfast was wonderful - a selection for everbody including kippers from the smokehouse next door, traditional english for those that are... More

Seriously the best B&B I've ever been to!! Peter and Jane were extremely helpful and amazing! They did beyond what we expect from any host to do. We stayed there for 3 nights. The minute we arrived Jane offered all sort of things, she offered us tea in the dining area, warm fresh milk if we wanted any, we asked... More

What a beautiful and peaceful place to stay! The view from the twin room is outstanding. Attention to every little detail, Harbour Lights is immaculate and the hosts are very welcoming. The breakfast is outstanding particularly the home made yogurt, granola and fruit. I took the bus to Beadnell and walked back to Craster and the next day, walked the... More
