Lovely location, lovely food and lovely view from clean room. However the 2nd night of our 2 night stay in premier deluxe room was slightly ruined by the loud noise of a function which was taking place in the suite immediately next door to our room. Although they moved us to another room when we raised the issue with them... More

Toddled along to The Bay Hotel Kinghorn for lunch.. great location with panoramic views across to Edinburgh I settled for the Haddock and Chips and my wife had Chicken & Ham Pie... Nice friendly service with a steady flow of people coming in . The fish was beautifully presented and lovely flavour... Batter & Chips could have done to be... More

The hotel was ok but lots of little things add up. The bar was cold in the evening after dinner, not that many staff about, were all friendly. the rooms were nice and i liked the bed on the upper floor. the central heating was ok but no light to shine on the panel so needed a torch to change... Our one-night stay was a 'pre-visit' to the hotel to assess its suitability for an event we will be holding in the area in 2014. We were given free use of a meeting area and double rooms at a very reasonable single occupancy rate. We had lunch, dinner and breakfast in the hotel. Staff: without exception the staff were friendly,... More

The Bay 'hotel' offers the more pricier option of accommodation in this area. I really wish I could say it was value for money, but what a joke. The place is situated in the middle of a caravan park. £120 a night will get you a view of the hotels air conditioning unit backing onto the rear car park. "Where... More

My daughter & partner stayed for one night. They said from arrival that the staff were unhelpful & rude & that they got the feeling that they did'nt want to be there!! This was a treat for my daughter as she had a baby recently & we thought it would be a nice surprise for her. Well she was extremely... More

I attended a conference in the hotel. The purpose of the conference was to provide networking opportunities for the participants. I expected to be able to use my tablet, which works with Wi-Fi connection. When I tried to connect I found that even in the hotel's public areas it is protected by a password. I assumed the reception will provide... More

We stayed here in Jan 2013 and I have been meaning to leave a review since then, we upgraded to the Bridal suite after using a Groupon voucher we were given as a present. The receptionist was lovely and had pre heated our original room so it was lovely and cozy but we choose to upgrade and after putting the... More

We stayed here for a night after a friends wedding. The wedding started at 3pm which is when they normally allow check in but they very kindly let us check in early so we could get ready. The room was very comfortable, tidy and modern. Room service was prompt and delicious. Bathroom very modern and spotlessly clean, shower to die... More

If you are contemplating staying here.......DON'T! This hotel is beyond terrible,it was painfully obvious they don't know how to run a hotel. First impressions,it's on a caravan park, great big ugly green static vans. Young receptionist on duty however was very pleasant, welcoming. She showed us to our room, explaining the key system, directed to restaurant and bar,all usual details breakfast times etc. Overall... More
