We went here as a party of 1 diver and 2 non divers on the 3 day/2 night package. Not being experienced divers/snorkellers we were a bit surprised by the organization of the 1st day. Pick up in Semporna at 8am, arrive on Mabul about an hour later, out on the dive boat half an hour after that. Luggage delivered... More

We booked a 6 days and 5 nights package. First day was a non diving day because we wanted to relax after 2 weeks of non stop traveling. I kind of regret that we decided to have a non diving day as there is little to do on the island if you are not diving. We had a walk around... More

I spent 8 nights at Scuba Junkie Mabul Beach Resort in late april this year and enjoyed it very much. Accomodations are well kept, very clean and comfortable. The food is not great, but good solid food to get you your energy for a full day of diving. To protest unsustainable fishing pratices in the area, they, unfortunately, don't serve... More

I (23 y, female) went to scuba junkie to take the open water course. My friend (23 y, female) went to take fun dives. We stayed in the dorm which was very nice and clean. We shared three bathrooms with eight people which was very comfortable. My instructor (Louis) was a relaxed guy but also took the course very seriously.... More

We visited Mabul island in this April, staying in Scuba Junkie Mabul Beach Resort, and never regret this choice. My fiancee, who is normally always critical, loves that place and staff there. Mabul island is not a luxury place with absolutely clean beaches. In fact, native residents, although nice and friendly, do make the beach dirty in some places. However,... More

We've just arrived back home after an amazing 5 days with scuba junkie. First- safety- before we went we were really worried about whether mabul/ semporna/ east Borneo was safe to visit and had no reference really to say it was. You will only ever really know once you are there yourselves but in our opinion, we felt very safe... More

I spent a night in semporna and then did the 5 night 6 day package on Mabul! My first day was a none diving day which in hindsight i probably would have changed but wanted to prolong my last week travelling. I had a day in Sipadan which was incredible (thank you Simon) and 3 days in and around Mabul,... More

Just spent 2 days in Semporna and 4 days in Mabul which were the best diving experiences ever. The rooms were comfortable and modern, the gardens were beautiful and well kept. All dive masters we went with were friendly, confident and provided a happy atmosphere. The water pressure in our delux AC room was very low and the hot water... More

My work colleague recommended this place to me and I'm glad she did. Scuba Junkie Mabul Beach resort is a great diving resort. I stayed for 8 days with 7 days of diving (23 dives) including 2 days at Sipidan I stayed in the Deluxe Air-con room and found it to be quite nice. The queen size bed in my... More

Me and two friends stayed here in march for a week. We all got our open water and advanced in that time. As a new diver I found the staff brilliant, confident, and capable. I was impressed by not only their skills as divers but also the efforts out into conservation. We were there for shark week and enjoy every... More
