We arrived there after a very long day. The person at reception was most kind, helped us find our room and even at that stage made the day a little better. The room was cozy, big enough, clean and overlooking one of the gardens. I will be probably more correct to say that the Chateau has its own park and... More

Chateau de Schengen is a beautiful building set in lovely grounds right by the river Moselle in the tiny village of Schengen. Our bedroom was clean, spacious, beautifully decorated and furnished with a luxurious feel. The rooms throughout the hotel are pleasantly decorated. We found staff very helpful. Reception staff took time to ensure we had maps and directions for... More

We were part of a car rally and stayed for 6 days. Great location on the German/French border right at the bottom of Luxembourg. The hotel has three sections to it with rooms of various sizes. We were in the suite which was massive, around 60 Sq. metres. We even discovered a kitchen in a separate room with a working... More

We loved staying in this chateau. The setting is beautiful with formal gardens and the Moselle across the road, the building is full of charm and history, and the room was very romantic and comfortable. It's a perfect place to stay if you're touring through the nearby vineyards of Luxembourg, Germany, or France. It's also about a 20 minute drive... More

We stayed for one night and had a lovely time. Our room had a view at the Moessel and was gorgeous. Good service, great breakfast (including fresh orangejuice), fantastic beds and a good but expensive restaurant. I loved the ambiance. The village is little, so you need a car or bikes to explore.

We decided to celebrate our wedding at the Chateau because we loved the atmosphere of the banquet room. Everything was absolutely perfect. The Goeres Group was very efficient with their organisation. As we had to organise the wedding from overseas, we could only meet with them twice. Despite this, they thought of everything. We felt that we could trust them... More

Passing through Luxembourg, hubby and I decided to stay at the Chateau de Schengen. It's a lovely little hotel about 30 minutes from Luxembourg city and sits on the river. Parking is outside the chateau on the street or you can park on the riverside just opposite the chateau / Schengen Museam (parking is free). Check in was fine and... More

We stayed here for two nights in a Confort room. The garden and the building are really beautiful. And I have to say that I was quite impressed when we first entered the premises. The room was quite small and the bathroom could really use some renovation. It felt like a hospital bathroom which really doesn't go well with the... More

Reception was awful. I made my reservation via Expedia about an hour before reaching hotel. Staff was unable to locate reservation and looked like unwilling to help or find it. Took me more then 1/2 an hour to get my keys. Hotel looks very nice in a sunny day. Hotel should improve with the team although at check-out a nice... More

Have spent 2 nights in this Hotel in small place called Schengen where the "European Schengen Agreement" has been signed. Wonderful location alongside the river and a few rooms have a river view (preferred rooms). Friendly staff, good food however somewhat pricey as usual in Luxembourg. Room somewhat small but cosy. Unfortunately no coffee:tea making device in the rooms. Other... More
