A group of 21 of us spent 2 nts here while on safari. One of the most wonderful things about our safari was the variation in accommodations. Kigio was most authentic, 'huts' amongst the animals. While you really can't call these huts, they were tent like in that 3 of the outside walls were canvas and had zippers that would... More

We only stayed 1 night at this camp but it was gorgeous and would like to have spent more time there. It had been raining when w arrived so was very slippery walking in. The rooms are huge with wall to wall glass looking over the river. The shower was super and the hot water bottles better. Our evening meal... More

We stayed here for one night as part of a safari and I wish we could have stayed longer. The rooms are huge and very comfortable. The view from our balcony was very lush and green. It was a bit chilly in the room once the sun set, but the hot water bottle helped warm up the bed. Staff will... More

The Kigio Wildlife Camp was the second stop on my Kenyan safari. I stayed two nights but wished I could have stayed longer. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The food was exceptional and my hut was perfect. It was a bit cold at night, but it was a nice contrast from the rest of locations on my safari. My... More

Getting there is an experience in itself, lol, but once you are there, we did NOT want to leave!! Our "thatched roof huts" made of echo-friendly materials, were amazing! "They are huge, so comfortable, and immaculate! And the entire camp is just BEAUTIFUL. The staff are unbelievable, they are so warm and welcoming. They prepared the most wonderful meals for... More

I took 35 students and 6 chaperones to Kigio as part of a school trip. Everything about this place was amazing. The views are unreal. The accommodations are spectacular. The wildlife is all around you. The meals were tremendous. I would return in a heartbeat. More

The Kigio Wildlife Camp is one of the nicest tent camps I have ever seen. It is near the RIft Valley Kigio Wildlife Sanctuary and viewing animals is as easy as the drive in and out of the camp. It is an eco camp where they take the ecology of the animals and the area very seriously. The tents are... More

May 31, 2011 The potholed track, paved at places with boulders, that leads to the reserve makes one wonder if he has made the right choice in going to the camp. But the torturous 10 odd kilometers off the excellent highway lead you to an excellent experience. We were delighted. The Kigio Wildlife Camp was suggested by our travel agent... More
