the place is old and not very clean, the food was terrible my husband get sick because of that, they promise all inclusive bar but is not true only some poor cocktails are included, they promise a yatch but that day they told us that was not working so we have to do there in a fast boat...the beach was... Do not plan to stay in this resort. I went there on a day tour and had enough... - Service in the entire resort is poor, I ordered a pina colada and had two insects on each and the bartender seemed ok with it. - The people staying there were complaining because they had to wait until 330 pm in... My boyfriend and I wanted to visit the Rosario Islands so we booked a day trip from Cartagena to Cocoliso. After the one hour boat ride we arrived at the island resort and unfortunately there was hardly any beach space at all and it was all rocky. On top of that the chairs on the beach are pretty uncomfortable however... More

We came to the hotel for a 4 nights stay, trusting reviews seen here on TripAdvisor and Booking.com, but they really don't reflect the truth. The hotel could have been a really nice place maybe 5 or even 10 years ago, but now it only lacks the most basic maintenance. Rooms are spacious with a small porch, living room, bathroom... More

I have spent several days in the hotel - I stress this because other reviewers took a few hours' trip and can't judge the same way. First of all, one mustr say that the "Isla Grande" on which the resort sits, is an "eco-friendly" environment meaning e.g. no cars, no water, no electricity. The hotel has a generator, although at... I´ve been there several times and have seen how it has declined. Maintenance and renovation are totally inexistent. The food is not worthy. You are in an island in the middle of the Caribbean sea and the fish they serve is basa from China. Our last two trips, one in July, the other yesterday (12/26/14) On both occasions, the boats... Its sad to see how a beautiful location is misused by such irresponsible people. The boats used to get to/from the island receive little to no maintenance and they constantly break down in the middle of the ocean (not fun if there are strong tides and you have kids with terrified looks on their faces). In addition, the crew operating... More

I bought a day pass for Cocoliso from Cartagena. The pictures in the brochures made it look like Cocoliso sits on a nice big beach, but it doesn't. The "beach" is a strip of a very rocky area with a thin dusting of sand. The lounge chairs were very uncomfortable. The resort grounds were very beautiful and the pool was... More

The food was excellent. The pool was very nice. The dudes selling necklaces were annoying. The beach area is a little bit dangerous. There is algae growing on the concrete next to the where the beach is. I saw an elderly man slip and break his leg. The staff handled the accident very well, but please beware of the beach... More

This place was nice. Nice sand and beautiful water. Was busy but you can walk down a bit and be alone. This had a smaller pool then Isla Encanta. We took the snorkeling your which was like an hour and 1/2. Saw coral and tropical fish. Was nice but I liked Playa Blanca better!
