This hotel has a strange and spooky layout. Some of the walls were painted black and the ambiance was dripping of faux luxury. Our room was comprised of two floors, but don't get me wrong, it was not spacious or luxurious The first floor contained our bathroom and second floor contained with our bed. Yes, we had to take a... Without a doubt my favourite Brussels hotel. Beautiful spacious rooms, very friendly staff, and an excellent restaurant. Nice garden at the back which is lovely when the sun shines. A welcome break from the sameness of international hotel chains. A hotel with real character.

I treat this place as a second home and feel like I am. Discreet, tasteful, charming, both business and pleasure, there is not a better place in Brussels. Great service, attentive yet not too familiar, great décor, food, taste, quiet yet always busy. The Manos and staff go the extra mile and it has an impact on all my guests,... More

When we arrived at this hotel around 5pm there was no one to be seen. We struggled through two sets of heavy glass doors with our luggage and the place seemed deserted. After locating a woman at a desk we were shown to a room. The room was rather old fashioned and very dark. The two bedside lamps had black... More

Booked a room in May 2014, really excited as this was a special trip. Arrived at the hotel in November 2014, only to be told that due to ongoing refurbishments, they no longer had a room available for us. The receptionist apologised and told us that he had reserved us a room at the sister hotel which was 5 minutes... More

We stayed in this hotel last summer and wanted to stay there again this year. But this stay was much worse. The best of all was the staff, their attitude, kindness, they were always ready to help. And we liked the restaurant - a cosy place, light colours, nice furniture.... But breakfast was much worse if I compare it with... More

I loved the restaurant with its winter garden and lovely fireplace. I didn't like the lack of the elevator and the ancient, not antique, room atmosphere. wifi did not work in the room and the amenities were not a 5* hotel average

We stayed here for a couple of nights a few weeks ago. Absolutely delightful. A very beautiful and friendly hotel. The breakfast was amazing, even had honey comb you could scrape off in the morning. The choice was really good. The location and the spa were good. Perfect weekend!

This is an excellent "classic" small European hotel. "Classic" in the sense of sparkling crystal chandeliers, lovely antique furniture, well lighted landscape and still life paintings and large painted porcelains. It is a particularly good choice for persons who have not traveled frequently in Europe or who would like to experience classic Europe rather than the bland luxury of the... More
