Some European hotels can be a shocker if you are not prepared for steep stairs, no elevator, poor infrastructure and high prices. I was unprepared. After the initial apprehension, including a relic television that was impossible to watch, the stay turned out to be not too bad. I was on business and the location was perfect - walking distance form... More

The rooms are tired, the windows have single pain glass so you can hear the drunks outside on a Saturday night, The breakfast was good and the welcome friendly and relatively cheap. OK for a stop-over but not for much longer

The service was excellent and the location was perfect as I had business meetings in very close proximity. Access to the tube and bus was also very easy. There is no elevator in this 3 storey hotel so once you are on the 2nd or 3rd floor you are bound to get some daily exercise.

I chose the hotel as a convenient place to stay - but I should maybe stayed elsewhere. Arrival was fine and the young guy there was very pleasant. From there it was downhill: well up 3 flights of very narrow stairs actually (where the grey paint had been knocked into so badly it was like it had a disease or... More

I booked the hotel as it was close to my family so ideal for a short weekend visit. The hotel is reasonably priced given that it is fairly close to the city centre (the Metro is just up the road and takes about 5 minutes to get to the central station). The hotel is a tall narrow building - beautiful... More

I stayed here for 1 night, because it was one of the closest available hotel to where I needed to be the next morning. The room was ‘clean’ enough to stay for 1 night - but it was small, and the carpet could use a replacement with all it’s stains. They call it a modern/design hotel, which it’s not. Very... More

Definitely the worst hotel I've ever seen!!! Mouldy shower, dirty walls, old fashioned TV (looks like a microwave or something). I will never go back there my whole life!!! The hygene departement should definitely come and take a good look at it!!!

OK if you did not plan to sleep beyond 7am : the busy boulevard and the ultra-thin window panes will make sure that you start early to plan for a busy day. Rooms are very small and renovation was clearly on a budget. Staff is friendly.

Aesthetically, there is very little wrong with this stay. The photos do present what you see when you arrive and in the rooms. The checkin procedure was really fast and conducted in a friendly manner. I did note that there are a lot of squeaky floorboards throughout, and for our particular room, a cold draft made its way through the... More

Very different from a standard chain hotel with some very unique features. Bits of the hotel are a little worn, but it adds to the charm! Breakfast interesting as all the guests eat around one large table.
