I stayed with my boyfriend for two nights just before main Christmas period. Travelling by car from Amsterdam. Hotel is situated in one of the streets of the main road which gives you quietness. When we were checking in we parked the car just at the street and unluckily for us got a ticket, so be careful and rather pay... More

Last week I visites Brussels and I stayed in the Argus hortel. Which was a good choise. The hotel is not that big and in a quit street, but close to the centre. The staff was very friendly and a central parking opposite the hotel. Rooms are complete with anything you need and airconditioned. Breakfast is oke for Belgiums terms.... More

Brussels hotels are notoriously expensive, and in my experience pretty dreadful, so this is really a good find - a good price, with an excellent breakfast included, and an easy walk to the lift down to the Marolles district and the lower town. Pet friendly, too, and with a good small park nearby to walk the dog. Helpful and likeable... More

Reasonable location but a bit basic. I found it quite noisy at night with people coming and going and I am not sure if I would want to stay more than one night. Staff were friendly. Room was basic, a few tatty edges (carpet threads and hole in a sheet) Basic lift and a bit of a rabbit warren to... More

Finding a decent and reasonably priced hotel in Brussels can be a nightmare. No complaints at all about this one. Set just off the main road and within walking distance of bars, restaurants and a couple of nice parks, the Argus looks quite old fashioned from the outside but inside it is comfortable and modern. Rooms are a bit on... More

A lovely small hotel which had an excellent location near the metro station, many restaurants and shopping centers. Friendly staff especially Henry and the lady covering the weekends ( I don't remember her name) the room is clean with reasonable size, the breakfast is good with excellent service, the elevator is small but most of the times it's available, bathroom... This was about the third time I stayed in Argus. The hotel in itself functions well. It can be characterized as light-modern and merely business. It however has not too much special to offer, which is not a bad thing. Spacious lobby and good reception. Staff in general is okay, not over-friendly. I had a single room and that was... More

Well-located hotel with free parking in a nearby garage. Wifi didn't work in our room. We missed breakfast, but my husband says it looked good. Room was comfortable and clean, with a small desk and a flat-screen TV. Bathroom was spacious. Not easy to get to rooms--elevator is tiny and up a couple of steps from the reception area. There's... The only thing I can highlight is the location and an acceptable breakfast. Very bad experience in Argus Hotel. Old building and rooms, not really clean. Wi-Fi did not work at my room (14). Asking about this to the recepcionist, his solution was "look for the modem and reboot it, should be one in your floor". By the end of... More

I have to write Argus Hotel experience again since I can't get enough of the excellent treatment I had for the second time. I rate this hotel 5 stars for location, affordability, cleanliness, super friendly staff, free wifi, and great breakfast. It is very accessible to Louiza Metro that takes you anywhere. There will be a shopping mall coming up... More
