On arriving at the hotel, from the outside my first thought was that it looked like the 'Crossroads Motel', at reception I received a warm welcome by friendly staff. This hotel has an old fashioned charm, the key with giant key rings that hang behind the reception desk, the floral wallpaper and the ambiance.

We stayed here for our first few nights of backpacking at the beginning of May. We rented a car from Zaventem Airport (Brussels) which I would highly recommend. We planned on stayng in Brussels, but there was an all-week event which meant limited availability (zero availability!). We found this place on booking.com and it was perfect for what we needed....

Nice small hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast. Very quiet at night, room and bathroom OK. I had to be in Halle the next day, so stayed in Ittre, which was a good choice.
