I stayed here for the first time whilst on a visit from England, it is in a perfect spot right beside the river. Wildlife abounds. Green tranquility! Heavenly, bliss! We took advantage of the water and hired kyaks, my first experience, Tony the owner was more than happy to provide instruction and get us started. The accomodation was spoltlessly clean,... More

We've now stayed here twice and both times have been excellent. The owners (both couples) are very welcoming and extremely helpful. The accomodation is always clean, the beds comfy and you couldn't ask for a better location. Having stayed in other places with less appeal which charge more, we would say this is extrememly good value for money and anyone... More

My wife & I spent a week at the Nornalup Riverside Chalets, we had a very relaxing time in this beautiful tranquil river setting. Our chalet which was spotlessly clean included a full kitchen, comfortable lounge with tv & dvd player etc with the added bonus of being within 50 meters of the Frankland river. A must do is to... We stayed in the Normalup Riverside Chalets, where the river is actually across the street. There is another property called something like The Nornalup Reserve Riverside Chalets. . . a completely different place! We stayed in the studio called Kookaburra for $115.00. There is no discount for seniors, but there is a discount for multiple day stays. The property was... More

We stayed here for 2 days in August and loved the location and the tranquillity of the cottages. We stayed in the teal duck and couldn't have asked for more. The cottage had everything we needed and reception had DVD's and board games to keep us entertained during the evenings. The cottage was well kept and tidy, it was too... More

We stayed here for 1 night at the tail end ot school holidays. The units were clean and the area was very well maintained. We paid $195 for a two bedroom unit (2 adults and 2 children) and were stearnly told if the children messed up one of theextra beds we would be charged an extra bed. In my opinion... More

This really is on the river, wow. Wish we remembered to bring the fishing rod! The interior is dated but spotless. We stayed in the Teal Duck which was really comfortable and roomy for two. I think this place would get really hot in summer without aircon. We pretty much left our oil heater on all day which kept us... More

A beautiful situation with chalets which ARE close to the river. Ours was the front chalet with the most wonderful view (Blue Wren). The birdlife was tremendous with lots of parrots and wrens and kayaks were available if you fancied a paddle on the river. Although a little dated in decor, the chalet was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The... More

A hidden gem. Right on the river near the wonderful town of Walpole. Many parrots. Great hosts. A true bargain and centrally located for many points of interest. Don't fail to go to William Bay, it's the most beautiful beach I've ever seen. Only possible negative is the lack of air conditioning, but this is a cool weather location. We... More

We stayed in one of the luxury chalets and can highly recommend it. The chalet was very spacious, one of the few places we have stayed at which would genuinely sleep a large number of people in comfort. The chalet was very clean and a very short stroll to the beautiful Frankland River. There are some river views (depending on... More
