Our trip to Bimbi was very disappointing. The campsite is sold as "camping under koalas" but in fact the koalas tend to be around the roads running up to the site and none on the actual campsite at all. In fact, the trees in the campsite are all covered at the bottom with plastic so koalas can't even get up... More

Bimbi is a gorgeous campsite, with lovely new facilities! We stayed in one of the lovely caravans, which are finished very well and have incredibly comfortable beds! The staff are VERY friendly. The facilities are very clean, and while we had a kitchen in our caravan we checked out the camp kitchen and it was one of the best we... More

Me and my husband stayed here for 1 night, but we were really sad to go and wished we could have stayed longer! We are backpacking and were not really prepared for camping, so we arrived with no sleeping bags and no food. Neither was a problem though, there was some Mac n cheese to buy in the reception and... Miss it already. Surrounded by nature, bush walks, koalas, open wood fires, pizza night & an open air movie in peak times. What more could you ask for. Stayed Australia long weekend with my family and while some of the facilities could be considered basic by some Caravan parks I've stayed in, it has that rustic, family feel about it.... More

The name says it all! You do camp under koalas! There are so many around you and the facilities were great. Showers and toilets were clean as could be for a shared facility and the hosts were extremely friendly and helpful with information. Would go back again for sure. We booked a bush camp spot and camped under the stars... More

I am the organiser of the social club Melbourne Explorers and we booked the bush camp at bimbi. We had approximately 52 regular members attend and we booked out all 7 pods as well as the camping ground. The bush camp has running water and proper toilets! All I can say is that this place is AMAZING!! The owners Frank... More

We had a short family holiday at Bimbi Park and would love to spend longer next time. The location is in an amazing and beautiful part of Australia. There are many different activities or you can relax quietly under the trees. We found all staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. We had booked a standard cabin, but were upgraded... More

I've been there 7 times now and am planning my 8th trip for next month. It's the perfect place to either take visitors or spend time with the kids as a family. There's accommodation for every budget, from tent site to deluxe 2 bedroom cottage. A great deal for low budgets but lazybones re tents are the bunk rooms. Cozy,... More

My family stayed on a powered site with friends in the cabin next door. When we checked in we found the arrangements were as we had booked but that having seen the site and cabin, we thought we could get better. The lady at reception was very flexible and accommodating. The washing facilities are modern and spacious and were cleaned... More

Dear Foxie2006 Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Its great hearing that our guests enjoyed Bimbi Park, we love it here too. Our staff, our boys, Frank and I (Kat) put a big effort into making our guests experience a good one. The cabin you had booked was a standard cabin; we have cabins here from... More

We stayed in one of the pods in Jan 15. These are an excellent alternative to taking your own tent and I can highly recommend. The park itself has good facilities including a clean and well maintained shared kitchen and a weekly pizza oven. Great situation close to the beach (un-surfaced road to get there) or the lighthouse at Cape... More
