We had tried several logis in the area but struggled to find one open for meals on a Sunday night. We were assured over the telephone that the restaurant would be open. When we arrived we were surprised to find a sign on the door which stated that the restaurant was closed on Sunday evenings. However, thankfully it proved wrong!... More

The hotel is conveniently placed just outside Orleans. Ideal for those not wishing to struggle with heavy traffic to find a hotel or wishing to get a good get-away going north in the morning. The ground-floor rooms were spotlessly clean and spacious with a huge shower room. The bed was comfortable. The dining room was very typically French and the... More

This hotel is really nice and comfortable with modern rooms (ours was,by request, on the ground floor) and secure parking on rather rough ground at the rear of the Hotel. The dining room is impressive and the service good (though there was only one couple staying besides us). My prawn starter was the best I have ever had and the... More

Came across this hotel after a longish drive back up through France, It's a Logis chained one so has to conform to a certain standard. Cheap enough at 60 euros for a double room with a "Grand Lit". The man on reception was not very talkative but I think that's just the way some are, spoke some English but not... More

This hotel was fine for a stopover - nice restaurant, big rooms (for five/six people), nice playground next door for young kids. There was also a secure car park and bar. Generally good value and we didn't find the staff rude!

Stayed here for one night stop over. Room clean and tidy. Bar ok. Restaurant ok. This is not the Ritz but then it does not cost the same as the Ritz, it's value for the money. We would stay here again.

The hotel rooms appear to have been upgraded recently and are comfortable enough. Laminate flooring has been installed in the rooms and alleyways which can be noisy but we were not kept awake beyond a reasonable hour. The lobby entrance appeared to be under an upgrade as we arrived. All this expense will be wasted unless the restaurant is improved... More

Stopped here for 1 night enroute to Toulouse from Cornwall, UK. Arrived around 9.30-10pm as planned. The man on reception not welcoming at all, barely grunted at us when we asked for advice on where to pop out for a drink (nowhere apparently, and there is a curfew at 10.30pm). We settled for a beer in the rather shabby and... More

No lift! Not as nice as photo suggests - rather run down, in fact. No lift, as advertised. Food is crude, lacking taste, quality and finesse. The waitress barely conceals her dislike, and disdain. A street light shone ALL night into room 104 through flimsy curtains; one slept on RED, non cotton uncomfortable sheets! So two serious flaws there. The... More
