We have been here just one night with our group of italian travellers april 3th. Fantastic place, fantastic atmosphere. The dinner on the terrace was excellent and after dinner we danced with the hotel employees and other clients.

Chez Yacob was a nice surprise in our trip through the South of Morocco. Chez Yacob is a very nice riad on a renewed kasbah which will make you feel the great atmosphere of Morocco. The riad is located within a ksar which must be absolutely visited and dominate a palmerie that runs along the river. The owner and the... More

In the past year I have travelled just about all across Morocco, and I think Chez Yacob has been my favorite of all of my hotels/riads. The staff is willing to go above and beyond to meet all of your needs. The rooms are beautiful and traditional, the food is delicious, and the facilities are clean. The village of Tamnougalt... I am a 70+ years old Canadian who lives in Taroudant, Morocco. Yesterday was my first day back after a 10 day trip consisting of stops at hotels in Tata, Foum Zguid, Tamnougalte, Alnif, Rissani, Merzouga, Errachidia, Ouarzazate. At Tamnougalte, Chez Yacob was undoubtedly the best place we stayed. Rooms were amazing in this renovated Kasbah. Modern bathrooms with lots... More

Friendly staff, descent food and a beautiful quiet spot of the main road. I didnt spend the night here but the town and the restaurant are definatelly well worth the trip. It offers a great alternative to the very touristic and noisy city of Agdez

We have stoppped at Auberge Chez Yacob for a late lunch on several occasions over the last 4 years on our way to the desert. As well as a friendly greeting we enjoy delicious food and hospitality and nothing is too much trouble. It is a fascinating location to explore and a photographers dream. You can get a English speaking... More

We stayed just one night Chez Yacob, and we found it to be a nice place in this very old historic kasbah. The staff was very nice, helpful and polite, especially the owner, Yacob. He speaks a good english and will help you. The room have air-con, but don't expect a five star accommodation, you get what you pay for.... More

Getting in to Chez Yacoub was an interesting experience - but what an amazing destination. A wonderful place to stay in the middle of an oasis. No luxury hotel - but who would want one when you can stay in a place that makes you feel like you have gone back in time. A true Moroccan welcome!

When we first got to the Kasbah, we didn't know what to expect, but we were greeted with tea by friendly staff who then showed us our room. We were very impressed by the size of the room and with the cleanliness of a room built with mud 150 years ago. The dinner consisted of a moroccan salad, berber omelette,... More

Our small tour group(11) stayed here after our camel ride/overnight in the desert near M'Hamid. We were tired & received enthusiastic welcome from Yacob & a generous portioned lunch in riad style courtyard. Our twin room had double bed also & was up a crumbly flight of stairs on the outer side of the kasbah style building. The non-functioning toilet... More
