Moulin du Roc is a very pretty hotel, set alongside a river with wonderful gardens, the rooms are character filled with lovely furnishings. Our room had a verandah that overlooked the river and gardens. The grounds have a pool and tennis court. The restaurant is also picturesque alongside the garden in river. The food is excellent and much lighter that... More

Wonderful location, calm and beautiful, exceptional service and superb food. A relaxing environment where you feel at home yet extremely well looked after. The outdoor restaurant sits on the edge of the river with calm and beautiful views, one of the best breakfasts we have ever had and a very creative dinner menu with a large choice of wines. The... This is such a lovely characterful hotel. Set in wonderful grounds with spacious outside areas with a river running though the grounds and water mill. Lovely outside seating areas and hidden areas to discover. There is adequate parking, also outdoor pool. The hotel it's self is lovely. There are several rooms for eating or having a drink inside and out.... More

This charming hotel is located in perfect spot on Dordogne. Hotel is built in old water mill building and benefits from direct access to the river. There are only 15 rooms and even when it is fully booked - it doesn't seem crowded. Every detail of the interrior is meticulously designed and the place looks absolutely fantastic. Breakfast and other... More

This hotel is hidden away in this village & only booked via an offer on Secret Escapes. What a delight. As soon as you arrive in this peaceful haven you feel as you are in another world. Far away from the bustle of Brantome but close enough to enjoy this beautiful spot. All staff made you feel special. Our room... More

Having booked this hotel at the last minute we arrived - not really knowing what world we were about to enter. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left - it was perfection. Both my husband and I have travelled extensively, being lucky to stay in some great hotels. We are therefore often critical. On reflection there was nothing... More

It is a magical place! I was spellbound by the extraordinary beauty of this place. We spent 2 nights there celebrating my birthday. When my mother called me, I asked her to wish me to feel as happy as I was there every day in my life. Great charming and fine dining place. It was the top of my "... More

What a fantastic restaurant , staff and food. Six of us met for a truly memorable lunch. Ate indoors as it was raining out. When the sun came out, we had coffee and dessert outside. The staff made that happen so beautifully for us. Fabulous experience!

We have just got back from the most wonderful weekend away for my partners 30th birthday. The hotel could not have done enough for us- we had a birthday cake made and activities arranged by reception who went above and beyond to ensure we had the best stay possible. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. It is spotlessly clean and has... More

Moulin du roc was the highlight of a trip my daughters and I took in May of 2015. Away fro the crowded streets of Brantome yet high on our list of luxury hotel stays. The staff is uniquely attentive, the restaurant small but of the highest quality. Dinner fro the three of us with fine wine unmatched. Be prepared to... More
