Group of 5 for Sunday Lunch for 70th Birthday. Ambiance lovely. Unfortunately, meal overpriced and service not too good. Ordered wine and it was just left on table, unopened - should have been served properly. Looking for venue for large family Christmas meal but will not be returning here!

First visit to Dunsley Hall for afternoon tea - seated on the terrace overlooking the grounds, beautiful. Staff were friendly and the cakes were delicious. The scones could have done with an extra 5 minutes cooking as a little undercooked but overal a lovely visit.

We had our first visit to Dunsley Hall Hotel today, having booked afternoon tea for four people. The location was stunning, very surprised at such a gem on our doorstep! The service was exceptional and we were well looked after by the very courteous staff. Cakes and sandwiches were of a high standard. We had our tea in the Hall... More

We visited Dunsley Hall looking for a venue to hold an evening function to celebrate our son's marriage in September 2015 which was taking place in the US. We were really impressed with the house and gardens and received prices, menus etc from Wilf, agreeing to take some of the rooms as part of the function. We booked the date... More

I can't apologize enough for the mistake. As you said, this was due to us having a new server installed, and did I unfortunately double book that date. We have now rectified the diary system. In the 8 years of being open this has never happened before and once again we are so sorry for the inconvenience.. Wilf More

We recieved a voucher for afternoon tea as a gift from my son and his wife. We attended and were properly greeted. From there on it was all down hill. We were shown to a deserted dining room and were brought a pot of tea. We ordered sandwiches and awaited their arrival before beginning the tea. The sandwiches that were... More

Dear Bonzo We are so sorry to hear that you were not happy with the service you received, and we will be talking to our team regarding this. As to the sandwiches being cold, it has been so hot we chill the sandwiches which are made fresh every day to ensure items such as ham or salmon stay at a... More

This delightful hotel is tucked away down a lane and is set within beautiful grounds. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Marsh room overlooks pretty gardens at rear and views of countryside. Lovely, comfortable bed; good food, lovely afternoon tea. Gardener was a gem with his local knowledge of the house and let us take a peek at the kitchen garden... More

Well what can we say. We got married only a couple of days ago at Dunsley Hall Hotel and are still on cloud 9. A beautiful location to hold a wedding. We got married there, had a deluxe afternoon tea followed by hog roast on the evening. We could not have asked for anything better. The day was perfect and... More

I spent two nights here last week to celebrate my 60th birthday. We stayed in the Whittington Room which was lovely. Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The afternoon 'high tea' was superb and enjoyed by our guests as much as us! I especially enjoyed the patio, the alpacas and the food! We will be back!

Hi Yes our Alpacas are delightful, and the Whittington Bed is so big you can get lost in it. Thank you for your kind review and hope you come back soon. Regards Dionne More
