The room that we booked was nothing like in the picture. They moved us to another room the view of the beach was nice. The bathroom tiles looked like they hadn't been cleaned properly, the towels hang above the toilet. Our request for a king size bed was 2 king singles pushed together, so it was very uncomfortable to sleep... More

Great room for the price. The room consisted of a Queen and a single bed, complimentary wine and DVD hire and a half day bike hire for two. And to top it off a 12pm check out. The hotel has been updated and looks great. The TV in the room is huge and great to watch the free DVD on.... More

We stayed at the Ramada overnight so we could visit Australia Zoo. The reservations process was ok - but we were given a highway view room which was incredibly noisy. The room looked filthy when we arrived but as nobody was on reception when we went downstairs, there was nobody to tell. Unfortunately my little boy was sick in bed... More

Stayed in a ocean view room on the 3rd floor for two nights which we purchased through Luxury Escapes and well worth it. Marcoola is a hidden gem and the access to the beach from the Ramada was exceptional. Visited Noosa but much preferred the relaxed style at Marcoola. Staff were really helpful and rooms, though ours was small, were... More

I recently travelled up to the Sunshine Coast for a sporting commitment and I was pleasantly surprised when I stumbled across Ramada Hotel (Originally Surf Air Hotel) on Marcoola Beach. I guess it's fair to say this location is a little isolated for those who like to stay in bustling areas but I can say this....The Ramada Hotel has been... More

We stayed recently for two nights only with our friends and would have loved to stay longer. Both our hotel rooms had views of the fabulous beach from our balcony only and although the rooms are small, were comfortable and provided a fridge and tea making facilities. We saw a few whales making their way north from the beach, and... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 1 night in the ocean view queen room, the room was small but cozy! This is a nice couples retreat however there is nothing around, there is a subway small 7 11 petrol station and an Indian resturant which was quite nice but very expensive! It is a quick walk to the beach... More

Our first stay will certainly not be our last. This resort has it all. Wonderful restaurant at reasonable prices, and a bar that supplies top quality meals for lunch at pub prices. Heated very large pool and a poolside bar for the thirsty. Our room was excellent with complete ocean view, and the fact that there is no road to... More

Stayed here for a week, I was on the fifth floor facing the water in a hotel style room. The front of the building and reception are impressive and staff at reception are happy and cheerful, check in was quick and painless; it is outside parking unless you are lucky enough to get an undercover park in the basement. The... More

We have stayed here before and I'm pleased to say that the resort has kept updating its rooms and the location is a favourite of ours. I love the huge pool and the fact that it is heated in winter. It was too cold on one overcast, windy day but otherwise it was warm. The restaurant was not as good... More
