We stayed here in October and November this year and each time asked for rooms overlooking the car park at the rear of the hotel. They were comfortable and quiet; plain in style and with lots of room. The restaurant is very special indeed. The food is classy and very cheffy - with lots of humour thrown in with the... More

We have stopped at this hotel on our journeys north and south to the South of France for many years. The rooms are very simple but clean and adequate. On this occasion there was a smell of disinfectant when we arrived which was not pleasant. The restaurant has always provided wonderful food but sadly since M. Chazot died the food... More

We stopped here on the way from UK to the Alps. We chose mainly for the family room that could accommodate all 5 of us, very reasonably. The room was fine: clean and basic. Nothing special but that's what we expected. The restaurant was however excellent. Interesting, innovative food beautifully cooked and presented. The 42€ menu provided 4 good courses... More

this could be the perfect stopover on journeys to the south of france or spain, just off the autoroute but a very pretty town on the Saone. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and were completely relaxed about our small dog. The annex rooms are basic but perfectly comfortable. our room was so clean that there was a lingering... We stayed here breaking a south-north journey. Had very fond memories of a great restaurant with good, inexpensive rooms, safe parking, and quiet –i.e., everything you are looking for on such a journey – when we last stayed here about 20 years ago. It’s in the same hands. Has been enlarged, but the rooms are still good, spacious, with large... More

Le Raisin: Fabulous chef, the food was delicious and worth the detour. Great staff, friendly and helpful. Rooms adequate, small, simple but clean. Bed comfortable but not soft. Private Parking, closed at night. Free wifi Breakfast typically French: 9 euros. Sent from my iPad

Thanks to other trip advisor reviews we stayed here on the 16th April and asked for a room overlooking the garden which was very quiet. The secure car park at the rear of the hotel was good and the hotel could be accessed from the car park. Staff were welcoming, helpful and we arrived early enough to enjoy a walk... More

We stayed at this hotel at the recommendation of Belgium friends who use this hotel as a half way point to Spain. We liked it so much we stayed for 2 nights. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful even with our pidgin French. The rooms were adequate, comfortable and quite. The restaurant was excellent - we were impressed with... More

Nice French atmosphere hotel in lively village with river-harbour. Stayed here twice. Basic but large rooms, clean and warm. Good parking. Nice little strawl around the village, after a very good restaurant visit. Recommended voor those staying a couple of days in the Burgundy area, for visits Macon, Cluny, Beaujolais.
