Lovely house in a beautiful secluded setting. Completely silent. Room was great and excellent hospitality. I had a bit of trouble finding the place late at night, but the owner was totally understanding. Couldn't recommend more- and will be finding a reason to come back!

Stayed overnight on the 1st of November, having tried to book previously, but having found the rooms fully booked. The stay was a very pleasurable experience and the B&B definitely lived up to the TripAdvisor 'hype'. The room (Beamed Room) and bathroom were very clean and put a lot of 4* hotel rooms to shame. The welcome from David was... More

My first visit but I am now 'a regular'. I've never done B&B before and I might not do it again because I doubt I'd find anywhere to live up to Dave and Paul's hospitality. Paneled room a delight, huge and bright. Massive bed and the bedding, quite simply, luxury. Tea and coffee with real milk in the room. TV... More

When i first arrived I wondered where i was going as a country lane seemed endless, it wasn't of course I am so used to towns and everything close to hand ~ and noise of traffic. David and Paul were and still are so welcoming, the rooms are spotless nothing is too much effort. Breakfast is freshly cooked with a... More

The log burner gave off a comforting glow on a chilly afternoon as we arrived to a genuinely friendly welcome from David. Our room was clean, bright and furnished in traditional style with quality fabrics and harmonising colours. We had a kettle and fresh milk to make hot drinks whenever we chose, and the large white breakfast cups were ideal... More

What a great find. This lovely old farmhouse is warm and welcoming in an outstanding position. Secluded and yet within easy reach of the village with good pubs. A very enjoyable stay with outstanding breakfast and good hosts.

Most lovely stay in this wonderful B&B ...anybody who meets you at the door with dry warm towels when you have been out for a wet run is a star in my book! Fantastic bedrooms, beautiful location and really delicious breakfasts. Paul and David know how to make their guests welcome. We will return

We stayed 4 nights at Poplars Farmhouse with my Aunt & Uncle. Lovely old farmhouse and garden full of character set in a tranquil secluded position, but within easy reach of village amenities and Suffolk's points of interest. Rooms were large, very comfortable and spotlessly clean with every attention to detail. Breakfasts were to die for and beautifully presented. We were... More

Beautiful farmhouse in a delightful location. David and Paul are very welcoming, the vegetarian full English breakfast is delicious and far more interesting than at most guest houses or B and B's Great walking country, good local pubs, all in all a very comfortable and relaxing stay.

We have just finished a two day cycle tour organised by Coolpedals and the Poplars Farmhouse was booked for us as a night's accommodation. Poplars Farmhouse is nestled in a secluded valley close enough to local amenities. This B&B is the best I have ever stayed in. The comfort, the decor, the atmosphere, the overall presentation and the breakfast were... More
