A wonderful guest house, run by wonderful people who welcome you into their home. All rooms are Immaculately clean and cared for. The breakfast was 5 star. Will definitely return and cannot recommend enough. Thank you Jai

We stayed here and it was clean, really clean and comfortable with great hosts. The breakfast was really good withe lots of everything and more if you asked. Great garden space and little parking bay at front. Really best place to stay. Book early as its small which makes it feel personal and very homely, as soon as you walk... More

Travelled to Walton to visit relatives and needed a place for me and 3 other family members- 3 rooms at very short notice with one member of family with serious health issues and all of us extremely fussy. To be honest we weren't expecting much and were already settling into moaning and whining before we arrived in Walton... Where Jay... More

We have just returned from our second visit to Backwater House and it was even nicer than last time. The host Jay and his helpers kayleigh in particular could not be faulted. Breakfast was superb (even cater for veggies ). Top marks for stylish, clean, comfortable, great value for money and above all a passion to make it a great... More

We used the double and twin rooms with shared bathroom and on the Wednesday night we were there we had the place to ourselves! Beautiful lounge area downstairs with big TV, kids easily logged onto wi-fi no problems. Great breakfast. Loved our stay. Jay met us at the B&B and was a lovely host. We walked less than five minutes... More

A wonderful place with amazing hosts. Best Full English breakfast I've ever had... It's just 8 minutes walking distance to the beach. The town is not exactly the most lively one. You can walk to the pier, shops and restaurants. Parking is not that easy.

I booked this after reading the positive reviews hear on tripadvisor. I have stayed in a lot of B&Bs over the years, generally preferring them to hotels. This was different as the owners are not onsite all the time, they are however within easy contact. We stayed in the lovely deluxe room, but I had a sneaky peek at the... More

We stayed for two nights at Backwater House B&B, in the deluxe en-suit room and it was simply fantastic. The bed was comfortable and well presented, the en-suite was fresh and clean, and the entire room was spacious enough for the two of us (with plenty of wardrobe space). The little touches like complimentary tea facilities, toiletries, hair dryer, towels... More
