Just returned from a break staying at Primrose Cottage. The owners called a couple of days before our arrival which was a bit of a concern as I thought we had been forgotten. There were positives and negatives to our stay..... Positives Good wifi signal No problems with being cold as the cottage was extremely hot, which at times was... More

Booked 4 nights in Cowslip cottage as a pre christmas break. On arrival met by Michael, lovely cottage with bread eggs and milk. It was warm and cosy and the electric blanket was on, which was a lovely touch after a long journey. Cottage very well equipped with everything you need, a real home away from home.Enjoyed our evenings just... More

We stayed at this wonderful cottage for the October half term break, we were greeted by Michael and Heather separately and they were available should you need them. They are the perfect hosts always asking if everything was ok when we saw them, asked if we needed anything and Heather offered to give us more information on anything all we... More

Michael and Heather were so nice and helpful but gave you your own space. Animals had to be fed in the morning by order of Jill and we even had... More

Thank you both for our kind words, the animals were really missing all the little extras that you had been feeding them on! More

Rectory Farm is in the middle of nowhere in the quiet village of Levisham near Pickering. The only sounds you hear are the chickens and tractors. Beautiful and quiet. Lovely breakfast cooked each morning by Heather and Michael, our hosts. We had the mini suite which is a little bit more luxurious. Seating area to watch TV, dressing gowns to... More

We have just returned from a weeks stay in Cowslip Cottage at Rectory Farm Levisham. Lovely farm location, fantastic accommodation, Michael and Heather very helpful, providing wonderful fresh bread daily. Ideal location for exploring the Moors, the steam railway and many coastal locations. thank you for a great stay.
