After spending another holiday it simply gets better, the sausage and eggs we had for breakfast were a must to buy to take home, we are so looking forward to booking again for next year, Gill, Mrs Babs and a Do Ron Ron make you so welcome and cannot do enough for you.

Not much we can add to the previous 42 five starred reviews. Excellent in every aspect. Gill and Ron do not have to work at their great welcome, care and wonderfully happy environment its all so natural!! A great find and recommended without any hesitation.

Once again we have spent another week from the 1st to the 8th July at this wonderful hotel. Lovely decor, wonderful food, and perfect hosts, Gill & Ron make you so welcome, and cannot do enough to make your stay memorable. Booked for the same time next year.

Every time we visit we are always made most welcome. The cuisine is excellent, accommodation of a very high standard and hospitality outstanding. A lovely area to stay. Interests in walking. heritage railways, birdwatching, historic sites and coastal areas are on your doorstep and very accessible.

The Moorlands Country House is in principle a B&B (resident hosts, no reception, fixed meal times), but with the comfort and style of a boutique hotel. We stayed at the Moorlands Cottage and it was wonderful, everything you could need was supplied, from dressing gowns shower gels to the lovely homemade bread left for us after our journey. Gill & Ron gave us such a warm welcome. I could not recommend the Moorlands highly enough; the gardens and views are wonderful.

This hotel shines above others, Ron on his delightful cooking and Gill on the decor and cleanliness of the rooms, Gill's humour will stay with us until our next visit in September.
