We went to Castell'Arquato for our friends wedding and the hotel was full of wedding guests! Everything was great! The breakfast is not big, but it is good. It had everything that we needed! Every time I had questions before our trip, I would send emails to the hotel and they would reply very fast! The room was comfortable and... More

Staying here (more or less) frequently on business trips and really like this hotel. It is very comfortable, charming, clean, service is very good and the location is unbeatable, As business trips go, I never have time to fully enjoy the surrounding, but after a stressful dahy this hotel is just the right place to unwind and relax. Cant comment... More

Castell' Arquato is a delightful hilltop town close to Piacenza - more the sort of place you expect to find in Tuscany or Umbria. The hotel and the town have been restored very sympathetically. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and the bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. Breakfast was way above... More

The Leon D'Oro, recently renovated, is situated in the historic town of Castell Arquato. The town is historic and very interesting. We recently booked wedding guests into this hotel and they were all very happy with the service and friendliness of the staff. The rooms were comfortable and it was a real bonus that the staff spoke English.

We were recently at the Leon d'Oro in Castell Arquato. This is a very interesting town albeit small. The historic upper town is really something to see. A hike but worth it. On the way my wife found a women's wear shop. (Imagine that). Money changed hands. The hotel is modern. The room was clean and quiet. There was a... More

I stayed at the Hotel Leon d'Oro on 29th April for 2 nights (room 31) The Hotel is situated at the foot of the castle in the piazza at Castell'Arquato, It's a real hidden gem, a family hotel where they speak English and can not do enough for you. My room was a small suite, very bright & airy with... More

After reading the reviews, we were very much looking forward to this stay and had high expectations. As far as the hotel is concerned, it is quite cute and the location is excellent, all the major attractions are withing walking distance. The hotel even has free parking available. HOWEVER, the trip was ruined by the service. The lady at the... More

Dear Ms. Akilah, I regret the confusion during the booking process, but His booking was made as if you had had a gift voucher for tasting meats and wine gutturnio (in fact this is a time when many foreigners arrive in this mode). As for the Campari Orange, is not in our Lounge Bar menu, so the waitress is not... More

this hotel was fine, friendly helpful staff, in a modern square at the bottom of town...it is a short 5 minute walk up to the old square and castle. Charming old town. Hotel clean and functional but no wow factor here. Save that for the food in the restaurants.

Hotel Leon D'Oro, Castell'Arquato There is little wrong with this hotel, although the breakfast consists mainly of sweet things & the orange juice is odd, which does not suit me. It was served al fresco, which was very pleasant. I was disappointed that the hotel appeared to be totally modern, yet I was told the building was very old. The... More

Dear Guest, I understand you, and I am very sorry! Actually coming to Castell'Arquato, which is a beautiful medieval town, you can expect that there is a medieval-style hotel, and no one better than me, can understand the love of an old building! But, just from experience, I say that you are not comfortable for those who are traveling and... More
