Yes, almost everyone there knew it from Rick Steves and most were fellow Americans, but we had a fantastic time talking with our fellow travelers each night over dinner. I would love to be back there. The Mittaghorn is a wonderfully simple place to spend the evenings after days spent in awe of the Jungfrau region.

I really can't add much more than what has already been said (raved about!) in the previous reviews. We traveled a month in Europe and our 2 nights/3 days here were the most amazing part of our trip. Wonderful, worn, creaky, alpine hotel. Great food and dinner guests. Interesting hosts. All surrounded by some the most stunning mountain scenery anywhere.
